          the main theme is forbidden love. the penroses, a royal family, consists of four children.
          
          princess a is the eldest of her siblings, 24 years old. she's been married to the son of a wealthy lord since she was eighteen. the wedding was arranged by their parents. they have a four year old daughter, but princess a is nowhere near happy with this husband of hers and possibly has eyes for a certain knight.
          
          prince b and princess c are twins. their parents have also arranged for princess c to marry a prince from another kingdom. by doing this, it's in both kings' interests to merge their kingdoms together in order to be stronger against any potential threats. but what if that prince from the other kingdom takes an interest in prince b and vice versa, while princess c is spending an awful lot of time with a someone from the village.
          
          prince d is one year younger the prince b and princess c. he's the golden child. his parents would never expect him to break any of their strict rules they've set for the children. they have no idea that he's been crushing on princess c's lady-in-waiting.
