I’ve come to the realization that the stories in which I’ve written Peter Parker (and Scott) as the main character, I have made them pretty out of character.
(Except for redhood. That is my personal golden child of spider-man fanfics and my favorite.)
Peter in the older comics is more of a sarcastic jerk who loves rage-baiting his villains. He makes quips on the fly. I think that modern marvel tropes of Peter not being able to keep a job and having to be single, have really stunted his progression.
I’m not saying a nice spider man is out of character, but the way I’ve written Spiderman is just so boring, I’ve made him a complete and utter parody of a guy who’s suffered. I originally wrote that spider man fan-fic because I hated Zeb-Wells run while also being blind to the fact that I also made Peter suffer in that story for no reason.
It doesn’t sit right with me that I continue to make fan-fics about Peter like he’s a anime harem protagonist. So I’ve come to announce I will be re-writing my first ever spider man X Yanderes story.

I actually already did before I went on my break. I just changed a few things, I didn’t do a crazy change of the prologue.
