I'm stoked for ONC this year even though life's been crazy of late, or perhaps that simply makes me even more stoked as ONC will be a nice break from crazy this year. The prompts don't launch until the first of Feburary, but you can get a good look at the prompts from previous years here.

          	As for the languages for this year, on top of the official English language profiles, the four languages for this year are Arabic, Spanish, Czech-Slovak and Danish, but it's always depending on having enough ambassadors for a given language that year.
          	
          	If English isn't your strong point, or one of those laqnguages, you can still write a novella and collect the milestone stickers.

          I am beyond touched at your words AND that u still remembered me after all these years! I honestly thought no one would care when I ditched writing on FF.net. I genuinely thought no one would remember my shitty stories so it was ok to delete them....but then I saw your messages and was completely blown away! 
          
          Thank u for liking 009! When I created her, she felt like a character in a book I'm trying to hype up. But now? She's her own freaking being! The girl doesn't let me write certain stories because I KNOW how she'd react in certain situations. When I 1st wrote her, I wanted to BE her. Now, she's her own person with different likes, dislikes and goals from me. 009 is no Self-Insert (despite trolls claiming that). She feels like a mix of being my daughter, my friend and my guide. 
          
          Writers give pieces of themselves to their characters, right? I think I gave 009 what little I have of my courage, the vast wanderlust in me and a yearning for freedom. Other than that - she's her own girl. 
          
          And I've even got others who are being fleshed out too!
          
          I'd be honoured if u looked through my Multiverse of Oddness fic. It's where I test out 009 in other worlds. Feel free to check out the others!

@NaelysB20 - I actually get the whole the character wanting to go in a different direction than you want to go, but recognizing that the characters do that actually makes you a good writer because each character is a unique individual who will act in a certain way.
            
            And yup. All characters are a self-insert on some level or another, even for the pros. :)

@canderloro - Yes. I am still working on my stories. Life's been crazy, have dealt with technical difficulties with the notes for my older storeis and I need to catch up on posting stuff I've posted elsewhere here.
