OBSCURE, CHAPTER 1 SNIPPET:
          
          “Keep it up, and you’re out, Stingray.” 
          
          “Phantom,” the Inferno warned under his breath. “You can’t just kick people out of SuperHQ. This is an organization for protection of Supers—“
          
          “I can do what I want,” Wesley snapped. Turned back to the Stingray. “My father is dead. Do you know what that means?”
          
          Silence.
          
          Something inside him turned, a flickering light finally calming into a bright beam. Until this very moment, he’d not been certain he wanted what he currently proclaimed he possessed. The power. The responsibility.
          
          But as it sat in the palm of his hand, Wesley understood he’d do anything to keep hold of it. The rush, the thrill, the thought that the wills of everyone before him bent to him.
          
          No wonder his father had wanted Evan to be killed. If this was what it was like to rule, Wesley would fight for his throne with everything he had. 
          
          “It means every single one of you in this room answer to me. You obey me as you did my father, or you leave.”

i'm going to attempt to stick to an update schedule for heart half full :))) aiming for a chapter every saturday, and focusing primarily on it until i finish! stargirl is my second main priority atm, but no promises on an update schedule just yet.

i keep saying this but i feel the need to repeat myself because im worried im not expressing it to my best ability — my heart is so full of gratitude. this community has shown up for me in a beautiful way. the kindness and love and support towards my publishing journey has been so overwhelming in the best way. thank you, thank you, thank you. no matter what happens in my writing journey thus forth, i will always be on wattpad because of this wonderful, kind, uplifting community. i love you all.
