omg pookie im back and i have so much updating to do…
okay so firstly i had to take a mental break because i finished the book Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and it seriously took so much out of me(it’s my favorite book ever now tho) and left me feeling really empty inside
AND THEN i put in an application to work at a BAKERY (omg) and had to do my first ever interview and i was literally so anxious then waiting to hear back made me literally insane but I GOT THE JOB!!!! IM GOING TO WORK IN A BAKERY HEHEHEHE im in my Knight era

i missed you so muchhh and i’ve been doing hella reading <3 i’ve read Archer’s Voice and i LOVED it omg Archer’s the most adorable book boyfriend! One True Loves by TJR also one of my favs, now im reading Ugly Love bc i needed to know the hype around CoHo books and even though i’ve read Verity before and wasn’t the biggest fan, i realised how her writing is so addictive, you just can’t get enough of it, so i’ve been reading all day today and a lil yesterday and im on page 171 so far (oops), so now im absolutely getting it, i love her writing a lot actually, very easy to get through and enticing! the plot twists too! even though i only gotta see one, as i said previously i spoiled a lil of this book for myself already so i knew what was gonna happen but still the majority of things are new to me.
how are you, love?? how are you liking the bakery? and the most important question, have you met your Sam Knight yet? <3
bestie i think my romance reading era is coming back with the nice weather, like all winter i’ve been reading tragic books without like little to no romance at all but i just went to Barnes and Noble a few days ago and i got like a lot bc i’ve been saving for this book store trip for forever, they are all fantasy/dystopian books with subplots of romance but i’m still so excited bc i love the slowburns fantasy romances have <3
anyways i just want to tell you my haul since you’re my number one book babe
so first i got the whole Divergent series, then i got the book If He Had Been With Me which is supposed to be a super tragic romance and everyone on tiktok is like obsessed with it, then i got the first book in The Raven Cycle series which is about these four ghost boys and a girl who can see ghosts and i know there are super cute romances all though the group between the girl and one of the boys and two of the boys with each other and i’m like so excited so yeah hegshdhrhvf plus it has found family and i love that trope sm
@itssecretlyharryhehe absolutely agree aboutvthe first part! i love love love books where the romance is a sub plot, but there’s enough of it so that you crave it after a good fantasy or mystery or whatever it is scene!! i’ve been wanting to read If He Had Been With Me but i really am not in the mood to be broken for the rest of my days now, however please please please do me a review and tell me if you loved it, i’m very excited to hear your thoughts <3 The Raven Cycle sounds so good too wow, i might need to pick it up myself some time so we have more books to discuss!! i also have a question, i heard a lot of people read this book at 9-10 or just closer to 2010, but i’ve only found out about it recently and it’s a paranormal/horror romance as far as im aware, and it’s called Anna Dressed In Blood, have you ever read it? and if you haven’t would you be willing to sometime with me? cause im really interested and i think you might be as well) it’s about this ghost hunter boy who goes for this ghost girl that’s been dead for a long long time and every time someone enters her house, she kills them, and it’s romance between them, im interested cause she’s like the ‘villain’ here and i love villain romances <3 let me know if you’re interested though or if you’ve heard or read it already :) love u bestie

@youbetterbejoeking oh my god me too, and being able to show people my bookshelf and tell them all the ones i read or lend them to people like i’m running a library lmao, and there’s just something about holding a book that gets me i just love it. getting to see your progress as your bookmark gets further and further into the book and turning to the last page ugh it’s just so wonderful
