Draco sighed as he woke up in the familiar manor. It wasn't the first time he had this kind of dream. This type of nightmare. It was always the manor that held his most terrible memories. Each nightmare he would relive those memories, but worse. It seemed to get worse as it went on. Each one darker and more terrifying then the last. And each time Draco thought he was prepared to take on the nightmare. But of course, he never was. Especially not for this one. "Draco." A voice called out to him. Draco sighed again and went to where the voice had come from, the dining room. He pushed open the doors and looked around the room. Nothing. It was just dim and empty. "Draco!" A frantic voice called out. Harry's voice. Draco spun around at the voice and ran to where it had come from. Draco opened a door and almost fell into darkness. The room was nothing but black with no floor. Draco didn't know what would happen if he fell in, but he didn't really want to find out. "Harry?!" Draco called out desperately. There was no response. "Harry, where are you?!" Draco called out into the pitch black room. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder. Draco turned his head to see the person, a dark hooded figure. "Who-" Draco started, getting cut off as the person pushing him. Draco yelled out as he fell into the darkness, wind rushing in his ears and nothing visible but the light from the door fading away as he went deeper and deeper into the dark. Soon enough Draco hit the ground, causing him to cough from impact. He got up from the ground and rubbed the back of his head, trying to get rid of the throbbing the fall had given him. "Harry?" Draco said as he looked around. All he could see was the stone floor below him, other than that it was pitch black all around him. "Draco!" Harry called out again, the black turning into a blinding white light with his voice. "Harry?!" Draco called out as he winced and rubbed his eyes as the white faded away. "Look at you now! The great Harry Potter!" A voice said followed by laughing, a voice that made Draco's blood run cold. It was his father's voice. "F-Father?!" Draco called out, voice shaking. There was the sound of chains being moved around and more cold hearted laughing. "Draco! How nice of you to join us." Lucius said happily. Draco spun around to the voice and then felt a hand on his shoulder as he caught a glimpse of his father. As soon as he felt the hand he was pushed backwards and thrown to the floor. A foot was placed on Draco's chest and he tried to get up only to be forced back down. "You're supposed to be in Azkaban." Draco said, voice cracking as he looked up at his father. "Simple answer, I escaped." Lucius said with a smirk. "Draco." Harry coughed out next to him. Draco turned to look at him and the sight he saw made tears flow from his eyes. Harry was severely beaten and his clothes were bloodied in some spots. His ankles were chained together and so were his wrists. "Harry. Harry, I'm so sorry." Draco choked out, reaching a hand out to caress his face. Harry coughed again, coughing out blood. "This is your fault. This happened because of you." Harry said in between coughs, tears leaking from his eyes. "No, Harry, I'd never hurt you." Draco said, voice cracking. The foot on Draco's chest pressed down harder, forcing Draco's attention back to his father. "You care for him?" Lucius said, venom dripping off his words. All Draco wanted to do was cry now. He wanted to wake up. He didn't want to be here. He didn't like this at all, not one bit. "Do you really believe you could ever be loved? Especially by him?" Lucius sneered, bending down to Draco so they were face to face. Lucius then grabbed Draco's left arm and yanked up the sleeve. Revealing a skull with a snake coming out of the mouth on his forearm. The Dark Mark. "You're a Death Eater, Draco!" Lucius cackled. "No." Draco breathed. "No, no I can't be!" Draco cried out. With new found strength he pushed the foot on his chest off. Lucius stumbled backwards with a scoff. Draco quickly scrambled over to Harry and looked over his injuries. "You did this." Harry said quietly. "No, Harry, I would never." Draco said shakily, holding Harry's face gently in his hands. Harry scoffed quietly and grabbed Draco's arms. Draco winced slightly at the tight grip Harry had on his arm and tried to get free. "I can't believe I trusted you." Harry said softly. "Harry, no, please." Draco said quietly, still struggling in his grip as more tears found their way down his face. There was a strong hand on Draco's shoulder and he was pulled back and onto his feet, Harry letting him go in the process. Lucius pulled Draco behind him, gripping onto his arm tightly, and pointed his wand at the defenseless Harry on the ground trying to get up. "Father, no!" Draco cried out, breath started to become uneven in his panic. Lucius turned his head to look at him. Draco stared up at him, tears flowing down his face and his expression pained. Lucius looked him dead in the eyes and smirked. Draco struggled in his grip, trying to get to Harry. "You don't deserve him. You don't deserve love." Lucius said gently, as if trying to let him down slowly. "I know that." Draco wanted to say. But the words caught in his throat and all he could produce was a whimper as his bottom lip quivered. "Avada Kedavra." Lucius hissed. "NO!" Draco cried out as he tried to get free. He watched in horror as the green light burst from the tip of his father's wand and made it's way towards Harry. There was a flash and then his father let him go. Draco fell at Harry's side and held his bruised face in his shaking hands. Harry's eyes were glassy and blank. Lucius cackled behind him and Draco carefully laid Harry's head back down. He stood up on shaking legs and turned to his father. Lucius looked at him and smirked. Draco lunged at him and tackled him into a wall of the room. With his father pinned against the wall he punched him square in the face. Lucius' head went backwards and hit the wall behind him. Draco punched him again and heard the clatter of his father's wand against the floor. Draco glanced at the wand on the floor and realized it was a mistake a second later. He felt hands wrap around his neck and he was then slammed into the wall he just had his father pinned against by the man himself. Draco choked and clawed at the hands around his throat as he felt his father's grip tighten. "You are no son of mine." Lucius snarled as dark spots danced around Draco's vision. "And you... will never be... my father." Draco rasped as his vision faded completely.

Draco awoke with a jolt and in a cold sweat. Harry moved slightly in his arms and Draco breathed heavily. The nightmare felt so real. Too real for his liking. Draco looked at Harry and held onto him tighter, hiding his face in Harry's hair and breathing in his scent. "You're safe." Draco murmured as he started to calm down slowly. He pulled away and gently pried Harry's hands off of him. He got out of the bed and pulled the covers over Harry better to make sure he was comfortable and would stay asleep. Draco moved some of Harry's hair out of his eyes and kissed his forehead lightly. He straightened up and walked over to the invisibility cloak on the ground. As he picked it up the Maruader's Map fell out and fluttered to the floor. He quickly scanned the map and dropped it again when he saw no one was going through the halls. He put on the cloak and quietly left the room, stealing a last glance at Harry sleeping in the bed. He needed to clear his head, he didn't want to go back to sleep only to be terrorized with nightmares again. He walked through the halls quietly, alone with his thoughts. "You don't deserve him. You don't deserve love." The words chanted in his head like a horrible spell. Draco stopped at a window of the castle and looked out to the night sky. "I don't deserve love." Draco whispered to himself.
