" Life Changes " .

Chapter 8

I woke up to my phone buzzing at 1a.m.

It was Brianna. " Hey Bri " I answered the phone.

" Hiii Alice.. C'mon Get ready.. We have to be at the airport at 2.. We'll meet there ok? " Brianna said. " Okay Bri .. Bye " I said ending the call.

Everything was already packed. Amy& I woke up. I had my shower for like 10 minutes. Amy dressed& ready to go & so did I. We finished everything in 15 minutes. The house was quite quiet!! Everyone is sleeping. We got out normally from the home door with no noise. We arrived at 1:45a.m. Brianna & Chloe were already there. Our suitcases have to be inspected & to make sure everything is okay. Our passports have to be sealed. Despite all of that , They finished earlier.

It's 3:45a.m. We have to wait till the plane is ready ( till 5)

While we were sitting , I saw my dad.

I was terrified that he would prevent me from travelling.

" Oh.. Dad,.. What are you doing here? ... I mean Why are you at the airport ?" I said in shocked

" Um... I was checking that everything is alright.. Just here to say goodbye. I knew that you're travelling " Dad said.

" Oh.. How did You know , Dad ?" I asked.

" I was calling your aunt for some reasons & she told me that you're going to Chicago to stay with her ... And I saw your paper on the fridge " Dad said.

I started crying! 😭

" I don't want you to hate me. Believe me, you're my only daughter & I loved you & I still do. Just wanted to say goodbye & enjoy your new life. And I'll determine  not to tell your mom that you're with your aunt! You deserve to be happy!" My dad said.

I hugged him really hard & crying!!

I imagined my childhood. My dad was my childhood hero & he'll always be my hero.

It's almost 4:15. They said that our plane arrived.

My dad gave me some money. I hugged Amy so hard. She'll be my bestie ForEver

Amy promised me that she'll come to visit me sooner.

My dad & I will keep communicating through my aunt's phone or through e-mails.

" Wait Alice , As for school You'll go to another school there as this is the last year" my dad said.
"Okay dad"
"BYE!! " I told Amy & Dad.

And it was the last " bye " to them.

I headed with Bri & Chloe to the plane. We went inside it & found our places. Chloe was in the middle between me & Bri.

We were sitting next to each other. I was right Chole & Bri was on the left.

I just closed my eyes & cried deeply!

" Don't worry Alice... Bri & I love you , We're goong to be with you ForEver... Everything is gona be alright" Chloe said.

I smiled to her.

I remembered what Grany told me " Everything will be alright "

I'm doing everything to make her proud of me.
