" Life Changes " .

Chapter 7

Amy woke up at 7 in the morning. I told Amy that I wasn't feeling like going to school . So she suggested going to the church. I nodded in agreement. It has been a long time I haven't been to the church. Amy & I entered the church . I prayed crying. Then we headed to the building where the choir is. There was a sweet young lady teaching the kids & teens the Christmas Carols. Amy & I decided to be members in that choir.

There were two girls , their age seemed to be like 16-18 .

We went & sat next to them. We became friends.

They are Brianna & Chloe.

After the choir we had talked a lot. They told us that they're travelling to Chicago because there's a perfect choir in Chicago that Brianna's sister ( Megan ) has been a member in it & she says that the choir needs more girls to join .. And life is more cooler than in here. Amy & I thought about that for a lot of time. Amy doesn't want to leave her parents but she wants to be with me.

But for me I thought it'd be great because I really want to go back to Chicago & want to leave my parents & that dull life.

Although, my aunt lives there. So That's great! But we are still thinking.

After about 1 hour. Amy told me that she won't be able to travel with me because her parents didn't agree about that. We were both so sad.

I do want to travel because I Hate my life here... I have to leave

I managed with Brianna & Chloe to travel after tomorrow. I took their phone numbers & they took mine. I went to my house to pack & organize my stuff. I asked Amy to come with me & she agreed . We entered my room by climbing on the ladder.

" First of all you have to search & find out your passport " Amy said

* After searching a lot *

" OH MY GOD, I couldn't find it! " I said madly.

" Jesus..😑..You have to find or create one before after tomorrow.. I mean As Soon As Possible! " Amy said

" Okay.. Maybe I'll go to the Civil Registry & get it tomorrow" I said

I got my 2 suitcases packed after 3 hours with the help of Amy.

My room is quite empty At the moment.

Firstly, I packed Grany's letter... because she wrote Aunt's address to me in a paper with the letter & I took her photo that was on my commode .. I packed all the clothes & shoes & a few make up I had.

Amy felt so tired .. She went to her house to sleep.

I managed with her to go & get the passport at 1 p.m tomorrow. She's really the best friend I've ever had. I'm blessed to have her in my life. I'm too sad becauseI'm going to travel & leave her. But she promised that she's going to come to Chicago somedays. But I really think that my life is going to be better if I travelled. And I can't handle that boring life that I'm in it anymore.

I woke up at 11 in the morning. I phoned Amy

" Good morning Alice... How are you? " Amy said.

" Morning Amy!! I 'm good.. Are you at home ? " I asked ( As I heard a crowded noise behind her )

" No ... I'm not at home, get ready & I'll be there in 30 minutes" Amy said,

" Okay ... I'm going to get ready " I said

" Okay .. Bye .. See you " Amy said

" Bye " I said ending the call.

* After 20 minutes *

Amy phoned because she had arrived. I told her to climb the ladder.

" Hey Alice... Um ... I got this for you because I really wanted to help you, You really deserve to be happy. I got up at 8 & went to get it for you " Amy said smilling with little tears in her eyes. ( She took off the passport from her bag)

" Oh my god.. The passport.. You got it for me? " " Thank you so much... You're the best I swear!! " I said crying in relief.

Amy hugged me so HARD crying!!

" I just went to ask bout your passport ... Someone has already got it for you & I just told them that I'm going to deliever it to you.. They took my photo, my number, my name & my address " Amy said smiling.

" That must be my grany, I guess" I said.

" Yeah.. Maybe " Amy said.

I was already ready to go out .. We went to the bank .. I took all the money that belongs to me in my name at the bank.. The bank was far away from here.. It took us 1 hour to arrive . It was 4 p.m. We decided to go to the shopping mall for shopping & also for having lunch. I bought a white vans to travel with , a handbag & packback.

Suddenly, When we were shopping at Forever21 , we found Brianna & Chloe.

" hey guys " Chloe said

" Oh! Nice meeting you... I'm just shopping for my supplies I need for travelling " I said smiling ." we actually did MANY things today " Brianna said

" Guys... Do you fancy having lunch with us" Amy said.

" Um.. Sounds great, Why not?" Chloe said

"yeah ... We've been shopping since 12.. We are starving " Brianna said laughing.

" Okay guys... Let's go order some food" I said smiling.

We went to the food court. We ordered food from Nando's.

we finished lunch at 6 . " What time we should be ready to get to the airport? " i asked.

" The plane is leaving at 5 a.m. We should be there at 2 a.m, " Chloe said.

" Okay .. Guys.. I'm going to leave as I have to check everything is ok & I have to phone , my aunt cause she lives there. Phone me at 1 a.m. " I said

Amy & I left.

Amy wanted to stay this night with me as it was the last night ever!! We got home. I wrote a letter to my mom & left it on the fridge. She wasn't at home  so she'll see it tomorrow.

I phoned my aunt ( Grany has already wrote her number in the letter ).. I told her everything , She told me " WELCOME anytime "

Amy gave me a paper with her Kik username & other accounts so we could keep in touch . She also gave me a picture of her & me. She made it. It was so PRETTY!!

I put it in my packback with my aunt's number & andress.

I put my 2 suitcases next to my roomdoor . We took a nap for 2 hours..
