_______________________________________"I see the new hero showed up again," a woman said from the shadows of the room she was in.
"Yes, she may be a problem," the man in front of her said as he held his staff.
"She'll be no problem for the both of us," the woman told the man, implying that she wanted to help.
"Not yet," the man replied, "it's not completely fixed yet."
"I know, sir. But once it is-" he cut her off.
"Not another word, I've already made up my mind," the man turned to face her, "Nathalie."
"Give that back!" You yelled to your kwami as he had stolen your phone.
"What's the magic word?" Kyan teased as your eye twitched.
"Abracadabra, give that back or I'm gonna slap ya," you retorted playfully as you attempted to grab it.
"Nope!" He said, popping the p. You continued to try to grab your phone as he would easily dodge your attempts.
"C'mon, I need to use the bathroom!" You wined.
"Why would you take your phone into the bathroom?" Your kwami asked, puzzled as he stopped moving.
"Y'know man, I just get a little bored in there!" You said as you snatched your phone from his paws. He had let his guard down because he was so confused and was still contemplating what you had said, "you just gonna sit there?"
"Oh-" Kyan now noticed the absence of the phone he once stole, "that was a dirty trick!"
"Only the best," you replied with a smug smile.
"I thought I'd be able to get attention from you..." The kwami said in a sad tone as he slouched sadly.
"You trynna bring me on your little guilt trip over there?" You asked as it was starting to work on you, "fine, you got me."
"Yay!" His face immediately lit up and his stance straitened as he zoomed over to hug your cheek, "can we go out for some pears?"
"You really like pears don't you.." you sighed.
"Honey, are you ok in there?" You heard your mother's voice from the other side of the door, "who are you talking to?"
"O-oh! It's just... Uh, one of my online friends!" You lied, "say hi, uh.."
"PATRICIA!" Kyan exclaimed in a panic, scared your mother would see behind your lie.
"Sounds like more of a masculine voice," she replied as she giggled a little, "or are you referring to a vine?"
"Ye-yeah! My real name is Max!" He said as he fake laughed along with your mother, not getting the reference he mistakenly made.
"Well, I'll leave you guys alone now," she said as she left.
"Phew... I thought she'd never leave," the kwami plopped down on the bed in relief.
"I thought the room was sound proof," you said as you noticed part of the padding on the wall was broken, "I really need to fix that."
"Can we go get some pears now?" Kyan perked up from his slumped position.
"Yeah, yeah. C'mon you pig," you joked as you walked into your closet to change. Even if he was just a kwami, he still had human intelligence.
"I take very much offense to that, thank you very much!" The miniature lion crossed his arms, "anyways, why do humans wear clothes? It just shows them down."
"Because we don't want perverts/creeps staring into our souls, only allowing the person we love to do that," you ranted creepily as your kwami's face shifted into one of disgust.
"Now I get it," he said as you walked out of your closet.
"Eh... But also to keep us warm," you finished, not knowing how your kwami felt about your last spew of words.
"Now can we go get some pears?" Kyan asked again.
"You're persistent," you said as he flew into your bag/pocket, "let's go."
You had finished buying pears for your kwami and were now walking to the Dupain-Cheng bakery to get something for yourself. Simply because you had a craving for (I/s), and you wanted to see how Marinette was doing.
"What are we doing here?" Kyan questioned, wanting to huddle up in the silky fabric he called blankets, which were just some fabric you trimmed off of some old clothes you didn't where anymore.
"I got you something, can't I treat myself?" You retorted, looking around to see if any passer byers noticed your strange behavior. Thankfully, no one did.
"I suppose, but make it fast so I can cuddle up in my blankets," he lazily replied as he hid in your pocket/bag.
You giggled at his antics as you walked into the bakery. Looking at the menu, you hoped they had (i/s). You were glad that they did. It was only on rare occasions that you could treat your cravings.
"Hello!" A small, short woman greeted you as you walked in, "what would you like to order?"
"I'd like-" she gasped, cutting you off from speaking further.
"Aren't you Y/n I've been hearing about!?" She exclaimed, but her voice still sounded gentle in a way.
"Um, yes. Yes I am," you replied awkwardly, wanting to order.
She stood quiet for a second, "oh dear! I was so interested- I'm sorry! What would you like to order?"
"Oh, just (i/s)," you shrugged, "and its fine, I'm used to it."
