Y/N turned around.
Cedric stood there, with teary eyes.
"Darling, I don't feel too well.."
Y/N held his hand and squeezed it reassuringly.
She smiled warmly at him.
And a bright light accelerated towards them, growing larger as it came closer.
"Promise me, we'll be together again."
"In our next lives, we'll be together again."
"And after that?"
"We'll stay together."
"Forever?"
"Forever."
The couple gazed in each other's eyes, holding hands as the bright light finally hit them.
They felt themselves fading.
Until they couldn't feel the warmth of their hands anymore.
