Early Morning in Hearthstone Kingdom, Medieval Scotland.....
(Faaris Tabari/Hearthstone)

It's 5:30 am, rising up as the sun strikes the open horizon for this glorious day to begin. Servants rush in with my armor and agendas straightened out as all kings must have. I don't have to worry about being human since my dragorn is a natural state since there are others around me with unique abilities. There are wizards, sorcesses, knights, and other animal-like beings living among us as I conquered this town, bringing this feudal society to a direct reign under my rule. I arranged my personal Dragon-Strike force to keep everyone in line but still let everyone live on normally out and about. Even if I got all this power, I must show dominance and free will so no one feels discouraged to live here. This is nothing like Alpha-city so here's a place of grand possibility. My faithful advisor Gwydion entered in with important news. He's an expert in high level wizard magic, potions, and foreign relation so I always depend on him of what happens around here. "Good morning Hearthstone, our sole protector. Usual business as our townsfolk has done casual business. We're still selecting noble warriors willing to compete in our big Knight Wars. You always win those so of course that won't change. Rebel groups have been popping up and we've hunted most of them down. However, some are too quick for our Dragon guards so that'll be something to improve. Lastly, the Brimfall and Lashful kingdoms are now working with us. There are plenty others who aren't gonna but this all to report." he replied. I guess there are some things here that won't change  but in due time, they'll suffer my wrath. "Appreciate this update so let's get to work people." I said. A simple order is all that makes them realize who's king around here. I'm aware of an uprising hero back home. I'll be waiting to finally meet who this fool is. Around here, this is home field advantage. This is gonna be a battle he'll never forget.

Pocket Dimension layer, Mid day........
(Saafir Radwan, Shadowblade)
I've trained my whole life for this. My toughest battle is yet to come, but the moment to win this is now. Of course, Sonam and I ended up losing that chance. "And that my friends is why warlocks don't like fire or light in my DD world. You guys aren't even trying anymore." Padmini pleaded. These remind of those times like Vakul and I had back in college. His flamboyant nature always made those stories come alive but this was good. I still lose but something not new for me. "I got to overview  business activity happening right now, so I'll be in my room if you need me. Thanks for the game though." Sonam said. "Alright, go ahead then. We're getting a dimensional disturbance." I said. Looks like this is dissipating from Scotland in a medieval, feudal type area. There are like people from known fantasy that exist. "Lucky. You get to see magicians and knights while I sit here, watching from here." Padmini complained. "Well if you wanna come and get attacked by real life creatures with no armor or anything, you're more than welcome to quit this and be a hero like me." I replied. "Um, I'll stick with what I'm good at here in this air conditioned place. You go on with your gear now." she said, at ease again.

I laughed a bit and Sonam listened in giggling too. There won't be any com signal, so I'll be on my own like the last couple of places. Hope whatever happens there ain't as bad, but we'll find out. The portal opened up, so I left my bike behind and changed into my armor. As I entered this realm, my weaponry sure fits this place. Booths of weapons, magic stuff, artifacts, and a bunch of other stuff these people may know better was everywhere. There were many sub sections of homes with normal utilities but still had those middle ages kinda vibe. Random people walked up to me asking what realm did I come from and I said Alpha city which bewildered them but it was my only answer. They went about their ways but my personal instinct is there was some fear in their eyes. There weren't just humans. I saw some swordamsn, knights, magicians, and other creature type beings. A strange place so far but what struck my eye was this towering fortress. I bet that's where one of the Syndicate's folk came here and conquered here for those years as a tyrannical ruler. I walked around and asked who that person is but reluctantly denied my question. The same thing occurred again and again as more people didn't even care. There are a lot of dragon soldiers keeping an eye on everything. There was no reason to cause attention since crime here hasn't been huge which is really odd. A little down leftward, there was a medium-sized structure tiled Knights and Magic Training Camp. I think this is a place to start getting some answers. A guy in a hooded coat held a signup sheet. "Are you here to join the Knight Wars? If you are, join at your own risk cause you're gonna die." the hooded guy said. I didn't" what to say back which was seriously unrelenting. "Is Franko messing with you again? Don't listen to him. Come with me, I'll fill you in on what's going on. You don't seem like everyone else around here. You're different which isn't bad, but intriguing. I'm Fiona Salazar. I'm training to be a sorceress in light magic, not the dark kind which most people are into and hand-to-hand combat too. Who are you?" she asked. "I'm Saafir, just an ordinary guy with dark matter manipulation powers. There's a certain limit I can control so that's why I got this tech to concentrate on small attacks like these blasters and blades. People call me Shadowblade is what I came up with since my goal is to bring some evil people to justice since they killed my mentor which is another story one day I'll tell ya. I took up his mantle with some other friends back home though.'' I explained. She was a bit shocked but at the same time surprised. "As you see, we're just planning to survive around here. We do whatever it takes to obtain needed resources and we've been under the radar from Hearthstone's reign of terror. He's a dragon-like brute that somehow killed our old council ruled by knights and has now turned old followers into evil servants. Even if we're training for the Knight Wars, we're also finding ways to overthrow him but nothing has worked out." Fiona said. Man, this town has suffered so much because of the Syndicate. They won't stop until everyone either suffers or die. I have to do something to make things right. "I know he's someone from my world and I'll do everything to assist. It won't be enough to overthrow but it'll convince him to change some rules. When is he planning this Knight Wars event?" I asked. "It's gonna happen tonight. He selects eight of the best warriors so two from each kingdom around here. No one has signed up here for agees, we can be a team together, but whoever face can be even deadlier so keep that in mind. We have good people here but I want them to be ready for anything since I'm the sole leader among everybody. I usually take charge in the games but most of my partners don't quite make it, so just don't die alright?" Fiona replied. "Don't worry, I've faced some pretty weird enemies so it's not new for me. Ok, since you have the most experience here, just keep me level and informed." I said. We both agreed and now nightfall will come. Whoever you are, ruining these people's lives, I'm coming.
