The thing Dylan sees looks like Freddy Kruger from the remake. A burt, evil thing with a glove with fingure knives. The remake Freddy is basically an evil demon that took on the form of Freddy Kruger.

Heather sighed sitting on the couch. Dylan had finally fallen alseep. The child was laying on the couch as his favorite movie played on the TV.

Dylan mumbled something in his sleep and Heather Frowned. It was late and she was worried.

When Dylan"s eyes snapped open and he screamed bloody murder that didn't help her stress. He looked around the dark living room with pain on his little face. Heather was repeating her sons name, trying to calm him down, but it's like the boy couldn't see his mother, he was looking past her, at the wall.

"Hey Dylan, ever play skin the cat?" That dark voice echoed in his head. "No? I'll teach ya!" It snapped. Freddy Kruger, or rather a demon dressed as the movie monster was standing on the wall, his hand reaching out for Heather, who had no idea what was going on behind her, she was just focused on her son.

Dylan screamed 'NO' and jumped on his mother, they both ended up on the living room floor. "Go Away, leave us alone!" He snapped, face hidden in his mothers hair. "Who-What's going on?" Heather asked rubbing his back. After a moment of silence Dylan looked up. He sighed and slowly started to calm down.

"Dylan, what's going on?" She asked brushing his hair out of his face. "He was here! In the living room! He was standing on the wall! He was gonna hurt you Mom!" Dylan said with tears forming in his eyes. "Who Dylan?" She asked in a whipser. The boy sniffed. "He looks burnt and hes mean and has a hat and a crazy Knife hand!" Heather sighed.

"Dylan thats what your father looked like in a movie he played in a long time ago." She said softly.

"He's darker and badder than Daddy. His laugh is-." Heather shook her head. "Dylan, calm down. I need to tell you something okay?" She asked picking her shaken son up. "Okay." He muttered. Heather sat him on the couch and turned the light on. "I'll be right back. I need to get something." She said walking out of the room.

Heather got under her bed and grabbed a box. She huffed and walked back to the living room. Dylan was clutching his toy dinausor for dear life, eyes wide as he looked around the room, afraid the man would come back and hurt him or his Mom. Heather sat the box down and smiled at him.

"You know how Mommy and Daddy act in movies right?" She asked sitting next to him on the couch. "Yea." He whispered. "Well we met a long time ago, it was my first movie. Dylan, it was a scary movie called A Nightmare On Elm Street. In the movie I played Nancy, who became the final girl and well your father was the bad guy. The one that hurt people. But its only a movie. We were playing a game basically and everyone had fun." She said pulling the first movie out of the box.

"See." She said handing it to him. "Thats him!" Dylan snapped dropping the VHS.

"I know. Dylan, that isn't a boogy man. It's your father in a lot of make-up that took forever to get put on and taken off." The boy gulped. "Look-I think the only way to get you over this-Is for you to watch the movies. Okay?" Heather asked softly. "Can you be a brave boy and watch them with me? You need to see it's only movies and for some reason-." She sighed.

"Look take this book and look over the pictures for a second." She handed her son a scrap book from the films.

"Hello?" Robert asked half asleep. "Robert, I-I'm worried about Dyan." Heather muttered. She had moved to the kitchen so she could call her husband. "Why?" He asked sitting up in his hotel bed.

Heather sighed watching her son flip through the pags. "He won't stop with this-He finally fell asleep but he ended up waking up screaming. He jumped on me and said the bad man was trying to kill me! Look I got the box of movies and I-I'm going to let him watch them. Let him see that it's just movies." She said looking out the window. "Whatever you think Heather, but what if they just end up making him even more afraid?" Robert asked softly. "This is the only thing I can think to do! I-I don't know anymore!" She said glancing at her son. "Did you tell him he was in one of the movies?" Robert asked rubbing his face.

Heather smirked. "N-No." She muttered messing with her hair. "I can come home Heather, help you show him." Robert said softly. "No. Ive got this."

"Alright. Tell him I love him. I love you!" Robert said with a smile. "We love you too." She muttered hanging up. "Okay. Ready?" She asked picking the first movie up off the floor.

"Is this you and Dad?" Dylan asked pointing at the book.

"Yes

And his talked.

"One two I'm coming for you-three four better."

Dylan screamed and closed the book. But it opened on its own and an arm came from it. "I've got your nose!" The demon snapped.

Dylan screamed and tossed the book across the room.
"Dyaln!" Heather snapped. The boy was feeling his face to make sure he still had his nose. "Maybe I don't got this." Heather muttered, pulling the boy into her arms.

Updated.

Do you think this is all in Dylan's head or could something really be going on that his mother isn't seeing?

Also do you think Robert should just drop the movie and come home..
