I rang the number and a guy answered on the second ring.

Hey Piper

This isn't Piper I'm one of Hazel's friends from school, somethings wrong with Annabeth

What did you do with her!

Nothing! I took my kitten out of my hood and she went white and started shaking!

Where are you?

About five minutes from school on the way to Hazel's house

Styx!

What?

Nothing, I'll be there in five minutes. Can you bring some water? Thanks

He hung up. "Well" asked Piper. "He'll be here in five minutes" I said, "he asked me to get some water". "Then go!" she yelled. Something weird is going on and I don't want to be apart of it. I already have enough problems. But these are the closest things to friends in school that I have since I was twelve and I plan on sticking with them. I stick Apollo back in my hood and run up the drive and in the back door to the kitchen. I fill a bottle full of water and put Apollo in his bed beside the stove in the sitting room and run back. When I get there a second car is parked behind Annabeth's. Annabeth is sitting on the ground leaning against the car with Pan on her lap. A boy about seventeen is beside her, talking to her gently. He looks up at me, glares and yells,"What did you do!". " I told you, nothing" I say quietly while holding his gaze. This guy is really rude. I notice two other boys get out of the car. Oh no. He's here. "You" he whispered. I run back and Pan follows me, as soon as I reach the trees I start climbing.

Piper

"Perceus Jackson!", scolded Hazel. "What I did nothing", he replied defensively, "You scared her, she's the one we're looking for and she was going to help me with my homework!" "Ok, I'll go say sorry". "Wait", I say. "She wasn't scared of you Percy, she didn't look away when you glared at her and she didn't run until Frank got out of the car."

"Why would she be scared of Frank", asked Hazel, "he's the nicest of all of us-no offence guys." "None taken, but Frank why is she scared of you?", I asked. "Um, I may have tried to shoot her with an arrow"."Reminds me of how I met Rachel", muttered Percy. "What?", said Jason. "I was at Hoover Dam looking for Annabeth and I ran her through with a sword". "Ok, back to topic, why did you shoot an arrow at her Frank?", I said. "I ran into her during the summer about a week before you arrived Percy, I was on sentry with Jack, I think she was hiking with her with one of her friends, we thought they were Empousai." "You might want to apologize", said Hazel smiling slightly.

"What happened to Annabeth anyway?", questioned Jason. "We stopped because Caoimhe said she wanted to check on something and a few minutes later she came running back chasing after the puppy that was sitting on Annabeth's lap, she told us she wanted to check on her dog and her kitten she took a  kitten out of her hood and Annabeth went white", I said.

"I still don't get it", Percy shook his head, "That's because your a seaweed brain", whispered Annabeth weakly. "Wise girl!".
