Chapter 25 - Shinzo's Call and School Vote

When I woke up, I saw that Oliver was gone. I wasn't worried, since I could here sounds coming from the kitchen. I got up and made my way in to the kitchen, where I saw Oliver making something. He saw me and smiled. I smiled back and went over to him.

"Good morning sleepy head," Oliver said.

"And to you too," I say, giving him a kiss.

Oliver blushed.

"Just in time too, I'm almost done with the pancakes."

"Can't wait to eat them," I say.

"I bet."

I watched as Oliver placed the nice, golden-brown pancakes on the two plates that were next to him. He gave me one of the plates and smiled. I smiled back and I sat at the counter. Oliver got out the syrup and poured it all over the pancakes. He then passed it to me. I took it then did the same thing. As I ate the the pancakes, I wasn't surprised by Oliver's cooking skills, but I couldn't help but to smile when I finished the meal. Right after I was done, my phone began to buzz. I took it out if my pocket and looked at who was calling.

It's Shinzo..

"Excuse me," I say, making my way out of the room.

Once I was out of the room, I answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Bro, you didn't send me a picture of Oliver!"

"Sorry... I forgot."

".... Seriously, what's up with you? You don't sound the same."

"Well, a whole bunch of stuff is coming up.. Another guy thinks that Oliver is his.. And school is in the way too."

"Huh..."

"Yea...."

"Well, you better keep Oliver in your grip, otherwise this guy will take him from you."

"Okay..."

"Also, tell Oliver that a friend of yours says hi."

"I'll tell him."

"Mmkay, bye."

I hung up and went back into the room, where Oliver was gathering his school things. He smiled when he saw me and I smiled back.

"A friend of mine said hi," I say.

Oliver blinked.

"You told him?"

Wait... How do you know it's a him?

"Yea."

"Okay, if he calls back, tell him I said hi."

"Okay."

Oliver smiled and handed me my bag. I smiled and took his hand, before we exited the apartment. I saw that Oliver was oddly very cheery, considering he's most likely going to be taken away from me. He smiled at everything that he passed. It made me kind of worried. Once we were inside the school, I saw Kaito going around to small groups of girls, a notebook in his hands. I wasn't going to ask him what he was doing, so I brought Oliver to his class before going to mine. I was able to pay attention to what the teacher was saying, even though I had a whole bunch a stuff on my mind. Once class was done, I went to English. Oliver was in his seat, looking down at something on the table. Carious, I went over to him. He looked at me and frowned.

"It looks like you have some convincing to do," he said, handing me the paper.

I took the paper and looked at it. I saw that their were two sides with tally marks. On the top it said my name and Kaito's. I had about 20 or more tally marks, while Kaito had twice as many. In the right hand corner it said, "I didn't cheat." I almost laughed at the words. I didn't care if he did cheat, Oliver was going to remain mine. I folded the paper and shoved it in my pocket, just in time to start class. Again, I was able to pay attention to what was going on, with an occasionally sneak peak at Oliver's drawings. After class, I gave Oliver a goodbye kiss and then went to lunch. I got myself a meal and sat down at Miku's table. Kaito wasn't there, but I could see him wandering around the cafeteria. Once I got up to throw away my garbage, only then did Kaito come back.

"Did you get my list?" He asked once I returned to the table.

"Yes I did. It said I didn't cheat."

"I didn't."

"Well, even if you did, only one thing will remain with me."

Kaito's eyes narrowed. I growled and stood up.

"Oliver will stay with me," I say before walking away.
