When lunch was over I went to my next class, and thank goodness that Miku wasn't in it. I was getting sick of her staring at me everyday and it was really creepy. As I sat down, I felt sad, since Oliver wasn't in any of my class's expect English, which I never really pay attention. I sighed and rested my head on the desk, but I stared at the teacher. The teacher went on about something I really didn't care about and I didn't even like. I've always hated Social Studies class. Social Studies was my greatest weakness, I'm not good at it. I was happy when the class was over, since it was my last class. As always, I snuck past all the kids, without getting spotted. I was thankful for Oliver for showing me a secret pathway that would lead me to the back of the apartment I was staying. Oliver would walk with me too, which made me even more happy, yet sometimes he wouldn't be able to walk with me. I would even find myself waiting for Oliver to show up, even when he told he wasn't going to make it. But this time, he showed up. I smiled at him when I saw him.
"Follow me," he said, slipping though some bushes.
I was now very interested, so I followed him. I surprised by how fast he was, considering that he had an illness. I founded that Oliver had lead me to a small garden. It was very bright, beautiful flowers were everywhere, birds were chirping and bugs were flying about.
"Welcome to my secret garden!" Oliver exclaimed.
"Your garden? You mean you did this?"
Oliver smiled and nodded. I was impressed at his nature skills. I smiled and looked around.
"When did you start this?" I asked.
"About two years ago. I found this place dying, so I made it beautiful again."
"Wow."
I found myself staring at a stone bench. It was very glossy and it didn't look old. Oliver saw what I was staring at and sat on the bench.
"I found this as well. It was really dirty and it took a few hours to clean it up," he said.
I sat next to him and stared at the garden.
"Have you shown this to others?" I asked.
"No. I show it to the ones I trust."
I'm one of the people you trust? I thought, looking at him. He was smiling a big smile. He was really happy. After awhile, Oliver got up and picked up his bag.
"I'm sure you have homework to do. I don't want to make you turn in your homework late," he said.
I gave a nod and stood up as well. As we exited the garden, I realized that I didn't know what I had to for English. I didn't want to make Oliver help me, so I didn't say anything until we were at the out doors.
"Um... I don't know what I'm supposed to do in English," I say.
Oliver gave a small chuckle and opened his door.
"We can do homework together," he said.
I gave a small nod and followed him into the apartment. The was the same as mine, but the walls were a different color. I knew that Oliver a very organized person, so I wasn't surprised when I saw that everything was neat. We studied after we got ourselves a snack. Oliver was a great teacher and I even think that he should teach kids when he gets older. He explained everything to me in detail and he didn't leave any instructions out. I had a few questions and Oliver was always showing me what to do. After we were done, we were both very tired. I don't really remember anything from that night, but I remember that we both fell asleep next to each other. I wished that every night I could sleep with Oliver. And that morning when I woke up, I didn't want to leave his side.
That's my wish. I don't want to leave his side.
