This short chapter does not take place in the actual story line but I think we all deserve a bit romance and stuff, plus it's Christmas, so merry Christmas everyone! <3
I hope you enjoy this special just as much as I enjoyed writing it.
You woke up to the soft melody of a Christmas song that is played again on the radio like every year at this time and the voice that announced the time. 9 am. Deciding that you could have breakfast you stood up and made your way downstairs into the kitchen. "Good morning, mother", you greeted the woman who finished cleaning the dishes and sat down at the kitchen table. "Good morning", she answered shortly, taking a sip of her tea.
You took a bowl and added cereals and milk and took a seat across from your mother. After eating your breakfast you brushed your teeth and walked back into your room. You turned on the radio and listened to the Christmas songs that were playing. Changing into comfy clothes you jumped into your bed and spend some time on your phone.
The sound of something hitting your window made you jump and you quickly looked at you window. It looked like snow was sticking on your window and you stood up to find out why.
You opened your window to look down only to quickly regret it.
SPLASH
A snowball hit you right in the face, making you stumble backwards and holding your now cold and hurting face.
"OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY (Y/N)!!"
After a few seconds you felt better and ready to move towards the window again. Looking down you saw a very worried Hinata in your front yard.
"Are you okay?? Can you see?? Did I hurt you???"
"It's..okay, but what are you doing here in the first place?"
"I-..I wanted..we wanted to invite you over, but..could you come out please?"
Curious about his explanation you closed the window and made your way downstairs. With winter coat and boots on you opened the front door and stepped outside being greeted by the cold air and snow landing on your head.
"Merry Christmas, (Y/N)!", Hinata greeted you with a firm hug that you happily return.
"Merry Christmas, Shōyō", you replied with a smile, "is this the reason why you threw snowballs at my window?"
You chuckled while Hinata blushed and took a step backwards, kicking the snow embarrassed.
"No..l-..like I said, my mom asked me if you wanted to come over..since you and your mother don't celebrate Christmas.."
He got quieter.
"She then said that I should ask you in person and not over the phone 'cause it's about Christmas after all.."
