Christmas had came and went in LA and now it was time to usher in the new year. Reeves and Bakari's families had spent the holiday together while Jon and Dakota spent theirs with their own respective families. Not too far from where fellow music superstar Chris Brown lived, Nina's New Year's Eve party held at a mansion in Tarzana was in full swing.

While Bakari and Ryder arrived together, Reeves, Jon and Dakota arrived separately in hopes of getting lucky. An hour into the party the guys had begun to drift apart and do their own thing.
Reeves headed towards the bar to refresh his drink. It was an open bar so he was going to take full advantage of it, like everyone else. The bartender slid him another glass of peach Tennessee whiskey and peach juice and thanked him by sliding him a couple dollars.
"Double shot of patron no ice!" A woman's voice said firmly as he brought his glass to his lips.
