First Love

Chapter 1

"Beta! Have you packed your bags?" Prakash shouted to both his kids. Kartik and Deepika made their way down and sat in the car. "Have a safe journey. I love you both," Prakash said and bid them goodbye.

Kartik started playing music while Deepika started reading her chemistry book. "Yaar, di can you at least not read now," he asked. "Then what do you want me to do," she asked him "Anything but study," Kartik said.

Deepika sighed and started talking to him. Soon enough, they reached their college. "Di, don't freak out ok. Just be nice to your roommate," Kartik told his sister and hugged her before he made his way to the boys hostel.

Deepika took a deep breath before knocking on the door. The door was opened by a girl. Duh. "Hi! I'm Sonakshi, you can call me Sona. Deepika right?" The bubbly girl said. Deepika nodded.

"Ok, I'm naming you Dips," Sona said and Deepika nodded. Deepika unpacked. "You seem like the studying type," Sonakshi said. Deepika nodded. "That's great, you can help me cause man my chemistry is shitty," Sonakshi said and Deepika cracked a laugh.

She was fun. Sona brought Deepika to the college. "Ok, so here's the canteen. This is my so called heaven but ya." Sonakshi said. Deepika bough herself a chocolate bar. She ate it while walking around the college.

Sonakshi brought Deepika to her locker. "Turn! Turn ! Turn!" She heard Sonakshi whisper shout. Sonakshi turned Deepika's body and faced it to the locker. Then, she made her face her.

"What's wrong?" Deepika asked. "That was Ranveer Khanna. The biggest fuck boy around here. I didn't want him to get a glimpse of you cause he plays any girl," Sonakshi said. Deepika nodded.

Deepika saw Kartik walking to them. "Sona, this is my brother. Kartik," Deepika introduced. Sonakshi showed her smile and Kartik smiled back. "Di, you know where's the canteen?" Kartik asked. Sonakshi brought him to the canteen.

Deepika was putting all her books in the locker and was about to walk away when someone bumped into her. "Im so sorry," that person said. "It's ok it's ok," Deepika replied quickly. "Im really very sorry, are you hurt?" That person asked.

"No no, I'm fine," Deepika said. "By the way, I'm Kriti, Kriti Khanna," she introduced. Deepika shook her hand. "Deepika, Deepika Trivedi, I'm new," she said.

Kriti and Deepika walked around. "Dips, Seriously, I need to warn you. Ranveer Khanna, my brother. He's bad news. I beg you, if he even talks to you, just walk away," Kriti said. Deepika frowned. His own sister was saying that.

"Because I don't want him to hurt you. And I don't want our friendship to be ruined because of that," Kriti said. Deepika nodded. Kriti looked at her watch.

"Fudge, I'm late. Catch you later Dips. Bye," Kriti said and went running. Deepika chuckled and made her way to her first class.

Deepika sat down at her seat and opened her book. The teacher entered and started teaching. She was taking notes of every single information given. At the end of class, she walked back to her hostel.

She unlocked the door and threw her bag on the bed. Deepika put her phone for charging. She sat down and opened her laptop. She opened her whatsapp and texted her father. Then, she felt her phone ring.

"Hello?" She said. "Dips, I won't be coming back today so just keep the door locked," she heard Sonakshi say. Deepika said ok and cut the call. She locked the door and dropped on her bed. She watched the sun set and her eyes slowly closed...
