Two days later...

Deepika and Ranveer were back in New York. Deepika was back to writing her fanfics and studying for her end year examinations. Ranveer did not bother study, he was mostly spending time watching Deepika when she wrote her fanfictions and when she was studying, he would spend time with his sister.

Sonakshi was getting along with Ranveer after knowing he didn't sleep with her sister recently. Ranveer was vibing to his music in his room when his room door opened, it was Kriti. "Hey," he greeted while pulling out his ear pieces out,

"Hey," she said and walked to his bed to sit on it. "What's wrong little munk?" he asked, sensing something was wrong with his little sister. "I think I'm in love bhaiya, but I don't think Kartik feels the same way," she said, looking down.

Ranveer smiled. "have you asked him yet?" He asked her. Kriti shook her head. "Well then go and ask him. Build up the courage to ask him," he said. Kriti nodded and hugged her brother.

A few days later...

Deepika was laying down on her bed, watching a movie on her phone. "Hey Kartik," she greeted when her brother entered. "Di, Kriti is in love with me," he said in a shocked tone. "I know," Deepika smirked.

"I...I told her I need time," he said to which Deepika immediately threw her phone. "What do you mean, you tell me everyday about how much you love her," she said.

"I freaked out," he reasoned. "I want you to go to her and tell her you love her," deepika said sternly to her brother.

A few days later...

Deepika was walking along the corridor when someone approached her. "Hi, Deepika right?" This guy said. "Ya," she said. "I'm Josh, I'm in your english class. I just wanted to know, the composition writing is due tomorrow right?" He asked.

"No, it's due in a week," she replied. "ah, so I was wandering if you could help me in a few components," he asked. "sure, I'll meet you at the library tonight?" She asked. He nodded and they exchanged numbers.

Ranveer stood there watching in jealousy. Deepika continued walking and bumped into her boyfriend. "Hey," she smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. He wrapped his around her waist but his eyes were following Josh.

"What are you looking at?" Deepika asked, nuzzling her nose in his cheek. "Who is he," ranveer asked. She turned and saw him staring at Josh. She smiled. "He's a classmate. I'm meeting him tonight for a discussion," she said and his eyes stared in hers..

"What discussion?" he asked, his grip tightening on her waist. "Composition discussion. He needs some ideas," she said. "Why must he come and ask you? Why not any other person?" Ranveer asked.

"Baby, how would I know. Calm down. Nothing will happen," she said while caressing his cheek. "How are you so sure?" He snickered. "I love you, that's why I won't let anything happen," she said and kissed him...
