Chapter 1

"Promises are meant to be broken".

It was a cold weather of her seventeenth year, when she decided to go back in her hometown.

"I think, we're late." Kiah said as she sighed.

"Yeah. We will be late. If we don't run.'' Kyoya said as he run towards the bus station.

"Oh? What was that? Wait for me." Kiah said as she tried to run as fast as she could.

Kiah and Kyoya was able to catch the bus going to their school.

"Seriously? You didn't even wait for me. Kyoya." Kiah said as she was trying to catch her breath.

"I did. I'd been waiting for you to come out from your house since 6:30 am." Kyoya said as he was also trying to catch his breath.

"But i think, we'll be late again." Kyoya said and sighed.

"Eh? Really? Sorry. I didn't know you were there." Kiah was flustered. And sighed.

"It's okay. But you should treat me later. In lunch." Kyoya looked at her.

"Eh? Why would i?", Kiah looked at him.

"Because you owe me two. Yesterday and today. That's why you should treat me." Kyoya pouted his lips. Trying to convince her.

"Eh? Seriously?" Kiah asked him.

"Okay, I will." Kiah looked at him. And smiled.

Kiah and Kyoya arrived to their school. They run as fast as they could to their classrooms. When suddenly. Kiah bumped into a guy.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." Kiah said as she tried to pick the books the guy was holding.

"It's okay.", The guy picked his books.

Kiah got shocked as she heard his voice. And as she was going to look at the guy.

"Kiah. We'll be late from our class." Kyoya grabbed her hand. And run.

"Oh. Yeah. Sorry again." Kiah ran as Kyoya grabbed her hand.

Kiah and Kyoya ran as fast as they could. And went to their classroom. Kyoya has been her bestfriend since she was a kid. Although they got separated for 5 years. However, Kyoya has never left her.

"Is there any problem? Are you okay?'' Kyoya asked.

"Yeah. Its just that. The guy i bumped earlier. I think, i've met him before." Kiah said.

"Really? You think so? Where?" Kyoya asked.

"I don't know. I've only heard his voice. But i could tell. That i've met him from somewhere." Kiah said while thinking about the guy.

"What? Seriously? You've only heard his voice? There are lots of guys who have the same voice." Kyoya chuckled.

"Yeah. I know. It might sound ridiculous. But seriously." Kiah looked at him.

"Yeah. Maybe, if you meet again. You could tell by looking at him. Not just hearing his voice. But for now. You should treat me." Kyoya looked at her and smiled.
