ToheMaru walks through the building and into a dark room. Another guy looked over at him then stands up bowing.
?: Hello sir.
TM: Isao. So far what has happened.
IS: Well sir... nothing good has happened so far.
TM: Explain further.
IS: The shadows have gone violent and started a rampage, making it extremely dangerous for the players.
TM: What do you mean by "Rampage"
Somebody bursts through the door.
B: SIR! Can I speak with you please??
He looked at her with a suspicious look. Brooke Hayuto and the other two walk down the hallway while talking.
B: I have witnessed that there is a malfunction in the game that is basically destroying humanity at its worse.
TM: I'm aware of that. Shadows going on a rampage.
B: Then why haven't you done anything about it??
TM: I just heard not too long ago. But I don't really see a problem in t-
B: WHAT??!!
She says looking back at him shocked.
HY: Come on, end the game until the malfunction is fixed.
TM: But think about it. If the shadows are stronger and can now attack, this is good to determine who is most likely to win this game fairly.
HY: It's not fair if the game is broken.
IS: Sir. There are a total of 28 players in the game. Excluding those that have died in the practice round, there aren't that many players left. Especially with the malfunction the death poll is rising much faster than any games we have done!
He looks Isao in the eyes.
IS: I think it's best that we end this round. For the sake of the game! Can we do that sir?
TM: Denied. Let's keep it this way, the last two surviving players will be safely guided back and have a battle determining the winner. Does that sound better.
B: NO!!
TM: I'm the game creator. We go by my rules
HY: Whatever happened to playing by the rules, you're just changing the rules yourself.
TM: I know. Because of a malfunction.
B: That didn't seem to be the case for the player that has died because headquarters refused to fix his sword.
ToheMaru looked at Brooke surprised while she was furious.
B: Don't think we didn't hear about it.
He chuckles.
TM: We can't do anything with shadow dust. It's all part of the plan.
He says chuckling evilly. He looked at the two of them.
TM: Where is Hinata?
HY: Not here obviously.
He squint his eyes at Hayuto who sticks his tongue out at him.
TM: Well, you guys go on. The game will continue.
Brooke groans watching them walk away.
HY: Watcha gonna do princess?
