"Hyejin? Babe? Wake up!"
Hyejin sat right up, eyes wide with tears and breathing heavily.
"Are you okay?" Moonbyul softly caressed her back, trying to calm her down,"Were you dreaming? Can you tell me what happened?"
Hyejin stared at her like she couldn't believe Moonbyul is by her side, giving comfort.
"Babe, I am getting worried. Did you have a nightmare again? Do you need some water? Just tell me and—Oh!" Moonbyul lets out a surprised yelp as Hyejin hugs her tight suddenly, "Hey, talk to me Hyejin."
Hyejin sniffs, "I dreamt about you and Yongsun. You two were girlfriends, being sweet to each other and all that. You said some things to me that hurt me. You were joking but I took it to heart." She allows herself be hugged tighter, telling herself that this right here, isn't a dream.
"Was this triggered by what I said earlier? That Yongsun was my first love?" Moonbyul slightly chuckles, "Yes, I admit Yongsun was many of my firsts but let me tell you babe, you, Ahn Hyejin, the best. You're great, amazing and enough. Please stop doubting your worth to me, okay? It makes me sad that you're hurting yourself in the process."
Hyejin tears up, Moonbyul never fails to lift her mood up and make her feel better of herself. How did she end up with this perfect human being?
"I love you." She pulls away from the hug to look Moonbyul at the eye as she said those words, "I fucking love you, Moon Byulyi."
Moonbyul's face lits up, smile reaching her eyes, "It would be a bummer if you don't love me Hyejin. I do these things and—"
"Shut up." Hyejin laughs, stopping her before she rambles about her mighty self. Her girlfriend, really.
Moonbyul opens her arms wide open, inviting her to a hug in which she accepted, letting herself be melted from the tight embrace.
"Also, thank you and I'm sorry." She hears herself saying, "Thank you for putting up with all the parts of me and I'm sorry for making you worry everytime it happens."
"Don't worry babe. You're forgiven all of the time. As long as you continue to let me in and communicate with me, it's fine by me." Moonbyul strokes her hair, earning a contented sigh from Hyejin.
"And Hyejin?"
"Yes babe?"
"I love you too. Don't forget that."
