Chapter 18: *Christmas special*

I made it extra-long for the all of you who also have spent their Christmas on Wattpad

*Eren's POV*

I woke up when I heard some loud noises from the kitchen. I tried to burry my head under the pillow but I couldn't continue to sleep. What the fuck was Levi doing? I slowly began to open an eye when I looked into stormy grey ones. "Get up, the sun is shining" his lovely voice greeted me, which didn't match with his cold expression at all. "And what am I supposed to do with that? Photosynthesis?" but his answer was just an angry glare. "come on Levi, I'm soooo tired" I said and grabbed his waist to pull him onto me in bed. "It's our day off. We could spend it in bed" I offered and bit onto my bottom lip. "No. chance." He answered and looked even more angry. "You are so hot when you try to give me orders. Like a real boss" I told him and kissed him on the forehead because the smaller one was laying with his belly on top of me and crossed his arms to lie his head on it. "You forgot it" he noticed and looked sad. I smashed my brain to think about what I possibly could have forgotten. Damn it. It wasn't his birthday and it wasn't mine. It's December, so it can't be an anniversary about our relationship and we also didn't have any appointments this week. December... December... and we had a day off... because... because... "IT'S CHRISTMAS" I screamed and got up which caused him to fall down the bed. "Ouch" he complained while he was rubbing his pounding head. "No but what's this?" I asked and burst into laughter when the black-haired boy finally stood up from the floor. I don't know if I have to repeat it, but all of you know the cold-hearted, angry Levi Ackermann. And exactly this idiot wore light blue jogging pants with plenty of reindeers on them. He also wore a red hoodie with snowmen, Santa and snowflakes on it. And I'm not finished yet: my lovely boyfriend also wore woollen socks with cookies on them and a red scarf with white pompoms at the ends. This ladies and gentlemen, is the real Levi Ackerman. "Stop laughing. You have the same pyjamas. You have 4 minutes, I expect you to be ready then. I'll wait in the kitchen for you" he said with his cold voice as if he had ordered to kill titans and not to make me wear a partner-look Christmas pyjama. I still couldn't believe what I just saw but I did what he said because Levi wasn't a morning person and I didn't want to mess with him at fucking 5.30 in the morning.

I quickly took a shower and put on the clothes he gave me. When I entered the kitchen I found the biggest mess that has ever come near to Levi Ackerman. The whole furniture was on one side of the room. What is he planning to do? "Today we clean the whole house" he said and gave me something to clean. When I looked down I saw that I was holding a rag with a Christmas tree on it. This cant be true. The whole cleaning stuff consisted of Christmas patterns. I'm dating a fucking freak. But when I looked over to him and saw him happily sweeping the floor I grabbed him from behind and placed a kiss on his cheek and began to clean.

3 painful hours later we finally finished to clean. I just wanted to fall in my bed, but Levi still didn't have enough. He forced me to go with him to the forest to choose a Christmastree. I would have chosen the first one we saw, but Levi Ackerman is an expert if it belongs to trees. We've spent the fucking whole morning inspecting branches, pine needles, trunks, hights and colours. When we finally found one I chopped it and carried it back to our house with my titan powers which I was allowed to use, if Levi was with me. So after we finally came home, we didn't decorate just the tree, but the whole house and the garden. It looked more adorned than Santa's house.

I baked cookies, cake and many more sweets while Levi created a whole menu. Suddenly the door rang and I went over to open up. I didn't believe what I saw. In front of me was Commandant Erwin and Captain Hanji. In partner pyjamas. My jaw dropped to the ground. "Finally" my boyfriend who appeared behind me, said. I was still shocked while the others pretended to be used to that theatre. We ate together and then we moved over to the living room where Hanji had put down plenty of pillows and duvets. I felt like in a sleepover. I know I always had Mikasa and Armin, but for the first time in my life I felt like I had a family, too. I looked over and saw the 1,65m small boy sitting in his cute pyjamas between a thousands of pillows, laughing and joking around with his best friends. We started a movie-marathon (Christmas movies of course) and had a lot of fun. Even if the all of us were on different ages, we got along so good and I began to understand we Levi had chosen the two of them. Hanji was pretty cool. She was crazy but still so funny. She was unbelievable intelligent and even if she seemed to be so amused about everything you could still rely your head on her shoulder. She was a good-hearted person because I think she fears the titans too, but she acts like it was all fun to take the anxiety of her soldiers away. She makes you think like they are just experiments and not nothing you can't deal with. Erwin is a safe spot. He may be also a little crazy, but there was always a plan behind it. And this man would give his life to protect Levi. And so would Hanji.

"I can't no more. This was the third time we've watched the Grinch, Levi. I nearly know the text by my heart already" I complained. "You will survive it another time, or two..." he said and smiled. He began to smile more often since we both moved in together and it made me so unbelievable happy to see him like this, but another time seeing this movie would cause me to throw up. He noticed my annoyed face and burst into laughter.

I felt a light kiss on my lips when I woke up. Seemed like I fell asleep during the 7th time watching the same movie over and over again. I opened my eyes and saw the little one sitting on my lap. "Thank you so much for doing this today, I knew you just did it for me. And sorry for waking you up, but you have to open your present" he said and smiled from one ear to the other. I was opening the box and found a book in it. A book? I raised an eyebrow and looked towards him. "Open the book" he told me. I did what he told me and gasped. "No you didn't" I said and was shocked. "Remember when I always told you I had to train the recruits at 4 in the morning? I didn't actually lie. I woke them up and gave them orders. While they were distracted I rode with my team through the whole land to find it. I once talked to Armin's grandfather, and he told me about this book. They said it was a mythos, but I wanted to find it for you. In this book are real facts about the world outside. The ocean. The deserts. I know you would kill to see the ocean" he said and handed me over a picture. That's it. That was the ocean. I was so happy I nearly cried, but before I burst into tears out of happiness I also wanted to give him his present. I walked over to the desk and gave him also a box. "You didn't have to... " he tried it but I forced him to open it. His face got a strange expression and he looked a little confused. "Even I wasn't just sitting around. During the experiments I forced Hanji to tell me about your youth, Kenny and your mom. There is a countryseat near Trost that belongs to you. Your mother Kuchel worked really hard to pay for it until death. She didn't want you to end up like her. I know you always thought your mother hated you, but she gave her life to make yours better. She loved you Levi. With all her heart. She may haven't plant to get pregnant, but she truly loved you, no matter who your father was. In this box there is a diary of hers which I found. And I also found an address of your mother's sister, your aunt. I talked to her and she would love to meet you. She never knew about you but she was so happy when I told her. You aren't alone anymore, I found your family, Levi." I told him. His eyes began to water and he cried until he nearly lost his voice. I held him in my arms while his tears didn't want to stop. He always whispered how thankful he was and how much he loved me and I held him tighter. Suddenly he stopped crying and his swollen grey eyes looked into mine. He took my face in his hands and his soft lips touched mine. "You are the only family I need" he mumbled.
