Lilith rushes to his own room and gets ready for the day, making sure to put on a scent blocker. When Lilith finishes he heads to Jack's house. Once Lilith arrived, he knocked on the door softly. Mary, Jack's mate, opens it with a welcoming smile. "Hey Mary, is Jack still here?" She laughs and shakes her head gently at how close they are. "Yes, he waited for you as always dear" Mary moves out of the way to let Lilith in and shuts the door behind him. "May you join us for breakfast please dear?" Lilith agrees to having breakfast with them and all is peaceful. Once they finish breakfast, Jack grabs his keys and they head off to the library. Lilith is secretly excited to see his new mate.
When they get there Jason is helping a lady return a book...well trying to help. She is freaking out and Jason is getting annoyed with her. When Jason sees Lilith and Jack, he waves at them, seeming to relax at the sight of Lilith. Lilith shyly waves back, not sure how to respond. "Hey dude!!" Jack gives Jason a big toothy grin before he starts poking fun at Lilith for being so red in the face. "Getting close to an alpha now, huh?∼" Lilith goes an even darker red. When Jason sees all of this gets a 'bit' jealous and starts to growl at the unaware beta. The lady he was helping quickly runs away, not wanting to see a gruesome scene unfold.
Jack and Lilith separate, going to put books up and help customers. Jason walks near Lilith, organizing books. As Jason walks to another area he leans in and kisses Lilith on the neck. Lilith stands there confused and a blushing mess. Lilith was so focused on getting what he needed to do he hadn't even realized Jason was there. Jack walks over, he finished everything he needed to and wanted to hang out with them. Jason starts growling at him though not liking the idea of Jack anywhere near what's his.
This continues throughout the entire day. By the end of it Lilith was basically attached to Jason, all because Jack found it funny to mess with him. As they are heading out Jack walks up to them. Jason starts growling at him, finding him to be a nuisance. "Whoa dude? Are ya his alpha or somethin?" Jason gives a slightly nods at the beta. He begins to feel more and more annoyed. His claws coming out and dig into Lilith's waist because of how tightly he is holding him. "Finally!!" Jason rolls his eyes, tired of being around the proud male. He snarls one last time before picking up Lilith and walking away. Jack pouts and goes home, already missing hanging out with his best friend.
Jason makes it home with Lilith still held tightly his arms. He easily unlocks the door and takes them inside. Lilith is looking up at him with a small smile, seemingly entranced by him. He sets Lilith down on a chair in the kitchen and walks to the fridge. "Tonight we're having ravioli." Lilith smiles and starts to purr, liking any pasta type foods. "Lilith? Are you happy?"
Jason is curious to hear his response, wanting to make sure he is being the best alpha he can be for him. Lilith gives him a big grin as Jason turns on the burner and adds the pot of water. "Of course I am!" Lilith acts like its the most obvious thing in the world causing Jason to smile in response. "Why?" Lilith takes a pause, truly thinking it over and wanting to give the perfect words. Jason waits patiently, wanting to see what Lilith has to see. "I don't know why, but whenever I'm around you I feel an overwhelming joy unlike anything else. It's simply indescribable and its a feeling I never want to lose."
Jason nods, happy with his answer. Lilith gets up and softly hugs Jason from behind as Jason begins to pour noodles in the pot.. "Jason, I think I love you." Jason wraps an arm around Lilith after shifting Lilith in front of him. He is a little upset about the fact Lilith isn't sure, but knows overtime he can make Lilith love him with no doubt. "Well I know I love you." Lilith gets a little worried, realizing he might have upset him by saying that and starts to panic slightly.
