Cold Alpha And His Fearful Omega

Chapter 1

     It's about 4 pm and Lilith's shift is almost over. Jack, his best friend, was quietly joking around with them. As they were talking about Jack's new house, Jason came over. Lilith hides into himself, he's terrified. Jack laughs a little as Jason puts away books on a higher shelf. 

    Lilith starts shaking hard. "That was way to scary!" Jack snickers to himself, Jason looks over and waves at them. Jack shouts out a hello with a big toothy grin but Lilith starts shaking. He cowers in fear behind Jack. 

    Jason starts to get abnormally worried about Lilith. "Is he okay?" While the alpha is stressing all Jack can do is laugh. "Yeah yeah, he's fine." Jason rolls his eyes, not amused at his antics. "He doesn't look like it, keep a eye on him." As soon as Jason walks of Jack doubles over in laughter. 

    "W-why is he so nice to me? I-I'm just a weak omega." Jack smiles devilishly, ready to embarrass the poor baby. "Who knows?~ Maybe he likes you~ Have you thought of that?~" Lilith blushes hard and freaks out, he seems to be terrified of just the thought of it. "H-He doesn't like me! That crazy! N-No alpha ever likes me.." Jack just chuckles and shrugs, knowing he already planted the seed. "Whatever you say flower~"

    After all the work is done they head to a nearby fast food place for dinner. They chat about Jacks mate, where they moved, and when he plans to propose to her. About this time Jason is closing the library and heading off to grab a bite to eat as well. Once he sees them in the window he decides to eat there as well. He sits near them and waits for Jack to notice, oh how he is grateful for that beta. 

    Jack sees him and gets super excited. "Jason! Jason!! Come sit with us!!!" Some of the other customers look at them before turning away. Jason slightly smiles to himself and looks up at them. "Sure." Jason goes and sits at the table, but when he does the small omega looks at their lap, not daring to look up. 

    Jack decides he needs to initiate the interaction. " So Jason! How was your day? How have you been? Are you okay?" Jason slightly nods and looks at the beta in front of him with a slight look of annoyance. "I'm fine, but how are you? You and Lilith seem to be getting really chatty lately." Jack quickly picks up on the jealousy in his voice and smiles big. "Well yeah! Me and my mate just bought a new house! Lilith moved into the nearby apartment too!" Jason visibly calms down and smiles a bit since Lilith is now involved. 

    "I noticed, since me and him are neighbors now." Jack smiles mischievously and Lilith gives a small nod. "Th-That's cool..." Jack gets out of his seat. "You guys should hang out more! My mate needs me now so have fun! Bye guys! Text me when you get home Lilith!" Jack leaves before Lilith can object and Jason smiles. Its all falling into place for him. 

    "Well I guess its just us now, huh?" Lilith is blushing softly and on his pale skin it glows. Lilith still stares at his lap, terrified of the alpha across from him. Usually he would of ran away, but he feels oddly comfortable around Jason. 

    This sadly only panics him more. Jason though is very quick and attentive. "Are you okay? Do you need water? Let me get you some water!" Jason gets up quickly and is gone before Lilith can even object.
