Alyxx sighed as she turned off her phone, placing it face down on her desk and putting her head in her hands.

Getting so much favouritism.
Don't get too big-headed.

Those comments floated through her head and she couldn't get them out.

I haven't even debuted yet and people are already coming for me.

Alyxx lifted her head up slowly and faced the picture of her two little brothers. "I miss you guys," she said aloud whilst grazing her hand over their faces. The only reason she took up the chance to train under Source Music Entertainment was because her cousin said he would look after her younger brothers. She never wanted to place such a responsibility on him but he insisted and her brothers pushed the idea too. She had always given up her time and energy to make sure they could live their lives to the fullest and not be restrained by their lifestyle. Thank God her cousin was pretty well off, otherwise she would have shut him down.

"OUR DEBUT SHOWCASE IS TOMORROW! OUR DEBUT SHOWCASE IS TOMORROW!" Maya chanted as she barged into Alyxx's room. Alyxx sighed playfully as she looked fondly upon their youngest member.

"Unnie, can you believe it?! I FEEL LIKE IM DREAMING!" Alyxx winced as she covered her ears with her hands. She laughed at Maya's antics. No matter how long she had known the girl she always wondered, how was she always this loud and energetic?

Maya blinked at her.

"You're getting prettier," she said in a monotonous voice and Alyxx could not contain her laugh. "Are you a robot? Your energy changed so quickly."

Maya smiled. "I'm just crazy, you should know that by now unnie."

"We sure do," Mina said as she strolled into Alyxx's room, followed by Nia. Why does everyone feel the need to gather in my room please? Alyxx wondered as she threw her head back on the chair and spun around, staring at the ceiling.

"Yah, have you guys seen NCT Sunbae-nim's comeback?!" Nia screamed. "Mark looks so cute! Alyxx you're so blessed that you're from the same city as him!" Alyxx rolled her eyes. Don't get her wrong, she really enjoyed listening to their music but listening to Nia scream about them, especially Mark, kind of hurt her eardrums. Why was she so loud? She wouldn't mind if she whispered, but screaming? No, thank you.

However, despite Nia's fangirling, she smiled to herself. She wished she could admire someone the same way Nia admired Mark. "Well, to be honest I'm lucky that me and Mark have the same birthday," Nia gloated as Alyxx was brought back to reality. "Yes, you are very lucky Nia," Alyxx stated as she stood up and smiled at her same age friend. Even through all her fangirling Alyxx still loved Nia. She was her best friend. They joined the company at the same time and stuck together like glue because they were the same age, only a week apart. Nothing could break them.

"Real vibe killer," Maya sang as she scrolled on her phone.

"Guys, come on, we have to go practice because our showcase is tomorrow and the day after we have our first music show performance at Inkigayo," Mina said as she started pulling Maya off Alyxx's bed and pushed her out of the room.

Alyxx took that as her cue to push Nia and her fangirling out of the room too.

"OMG, we're gonna see NCT AND OMG IM GONNA SEE MARK! I WONDER IF HE'S JUST AS HANDSO-"

Alyxx closed the door on her, cutting Nia off. She shook her head whilst laughing.

She could not wait to perform.
