Alice woke up to her roommate Hermione's loud noise, she groaned as she pressed her head harder against her pillow yelling into it  to tell Hermione to shut up.

But Alice's actions did everything but shut Hermione up as she rolled her eyes and threw a pillow on Alice's head

"Ow!" Alice yelped. "Honestly, Alice! Get dressed! We don't have much time before the classes start!" Hermione said in her loud voice.

Alice's head popped out of the pillow, a groan escaping her lips as she did so.  Mentally cursing the school for having classes this early, she slowly got up unwillingly her face full of disgust and laziness.

Her face felt a bit puffy from not getting enough sleep, and a bit because she did kinda cry herself to sleep last night, well because of Draco.

She groaned as she remembered about Draco, she still had no idea what to do with him, how to get him to forgive her, hell even talk to her.

"What happened to you, last night?" The question made Alice's head pop up, making it harder for her to lie on spot.

Especially to her brilliant best friend Hermione, "Uhh, nothing I just needed some air that's all" Alice attempted to lie through her teeth as she tried her best to not sound nervous but it was apparent she was.

"Alice, I'm not daft! I can tell when you lie.." Hermione sighed.

"Plus you would never ever leave the Welcoming Feast to "get air" " and Hermione really did air quote those parts.

"And just vanish out of thin air afterwards, Ron and I went looking for you!" She said her voice now a bit worried.

"I'm fine, Hermione." Alice huffed,

"I talked with Draco and as you can imagine it did not end well at all."

"And what did that git do to you this time huh?" Hermione scoffed as Alice chuckled weakly.

"Nothing really, I don't think he is gonna forgive me, I feel like he's gonna stay mad at me forever.." Hermione furrowed her eyebrows in confusion at the girls words.

"Forgive you? Forgive you for what exactly?"

Alice just groaned and brushed her off.

"Come on Hermione, you don't wanna be late for class, do you?" Hermione shook her head as Alice smiled, dressing up quickly to not keep Hermione anymore waiting as the girl was already in her clothes and had her book in her hands.

Alice and Hermione seemed to be in a good mood, chatting and laughing throughout their way to the class.

Making it seem as if Alice could spend a minute not thinking about Draco, and be geniunely happy.

She was finally happy that her thoughts of him were washing away, but of course, of fucking course she jinxed herself for thinking about it.

As in seconds later, she could hear the soft voice of the Malfoy boy, her smile dropping at the sound filling her ears.

Draco walked opposite way of Alice & Hermione, mindlessly walking through the corridors as their eyes met.

Draco's grey eyes were ice cold as they were staring into Alice's gentle blue ones.

Alice's breath quickened as their eyes connected,  but the connection didn't last long.

Alice's eyes slowly drifted to the person next to Draco, a girl.

Not just any girl, Pansy, Pansy Parkinson.
