Alice brushed her hair for the last time as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, happier now that she was actually clean and more decent looking with the magic of a blush and a mascara.

She had put on a dress that she got over the course of the summer, it complimented her body nicely as it hugged her curves in the right way, a simple black slithed dress. 

 Alice  squeaked as she saw how Hermione looked, "You look amazing!" Alice said, earning a warm smile from Hermione.

 "Me? Look at you! You're so pretty!" Alice returned the smile Hermione's words making her happy.

"Thank you, and thank you.. for doing this.. you know forcing me and stuff." Alice murmured as Hermione chuckled.

 "Anytime!" She smirked playfully as she grabbed Alice's hands "Now let's go!" a chuckle left Alice's lips as she was surprised at the girl for being interested in actually going to a party.

The two girls arrived at the room of requirement, and got in surprisingly quick as Hermione guessed the Ravenclaw password riddle in a matter of seconds.

 Alice walked in the room and stared around in awe as it all looked fun and really beautiful.

Hermione was searching around for Ron,Harry and Ginny, but instead she locked eyes with Zabini, her eyes widening.

"Look Alice.. don't be mad at me okay?" Alice furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she allowed Hermione to continue, but she just pointed at a direction in which Alice's eyes met up with Zabini's and as soon as that happened she mentally cursed herself and turned her gaze away from the boy quickly.

"Hermione... I'm gonna kill you!" Alice replied angrily as Hermione smiled nervously.

 "Look, it's okay let's just ignore them and find Ron, Harry and Ginny." Hermione said calmly.

The girls wandered around looking for the boys, Hermione's eyes quickly landed at the trio as she waved and had a huge smile on her face. 

Hermione pulled Alice to their side quickly. As the Gryffindors greeted each other.

"Do you guys want anything to dr-"

"YES!" Alice jumped in excitedly before Ron could finish, making the boy chuckle as he walked off quickly.

Alice was trying her best to have fun but it was impossible, knowing Draco and his little girlfriend could pop up in any minute. 

"Here you go!" Ron said in a cheerful tone and handed her a drink, washing over her thoughts.

Without any thought Alice took a big sip from the drink , the numbness in her throat was making her feel good for the first time in forever.

She was about to take another sip as her eyes locked wit him,  there Draco was, in front of her, with Pansy, again. 

She stopped dead in her tracks, wanting to kill Hermione for dragging her to this party.

But quickly Alice pulled herself together, much better than last time and chugged her drink, Draco's eye slowly catching the girl as she made her way to the drinking stand in a hurry.

She harshly grabbed a cup as she poured herself another drink.

"Stupid, you're so fucking stupid, Alice." She said to herself and mimicking herself as she felt a nudge on her shoulder. 

She almost gasped, then she  hesitantly turned around, afraid of who it could be.

 It was Zabini. She sighed in relief, but her eyebrows raised up confused.
