No More Pirates (Book Two)

Chapter 12- Blackbeard

The Enchanted Forest; Half a Century Ago...

"I know every inch of her," Blackbeard grins evily.

"Then you know not to step there!" The captain slams his boot down on the deck. A board flips upwards, causing Blackbeard's foot to be caught underneath it.

"I've been meaning to fix that," Hook smiles.

He motions his head for Elizabeth and the rest of the crew to capture the evil pirate.

Elizabeth wraps the rope tightly around Blackbeard.

"Mmm, hello beautiful." He growls at her.

She sinches the rope tightly around his neck. She turns from him to approach Hook, but when she sees Blackbeard's eyes hungrily glued to her backside, she wheels around, slamming her fist into his jaw.

Hook laughs proudly behind her.

"Now," Elizabeth says firmly. "Anything you want to say to the captain?" She steps to the side, letting her captain face his prisoner.

Hook smiles his signature cocky smile. He leans in close so he can whisper to Blackbeard.

"I'll let you in on a little secret. No one takes my ship from me."

Blackbeard's face reddens as he bites his tongue.

"To the plank with him!" Elizabeth commands.

Not a moment later, Blackbeard is falling to the depths of the locker with a splash.

Storybrooke; The Sheriff's Station...

Elizabeth begins to stir in her cot as the Savior and her father come rushing into the station. "Bloody hell," she groans.

Emma slams herself against the bars of Elizabeth's cell. "Where is he!?" She growls viciously.

"Slow down, lass." Elizabeth rubs her head as she slowly sits up. She's still fully dressed, except for her leather jacket that she used as a makeshift pillow.

"Killian. Where is he!?"

The pirate's eyes widen.

"What?" She asks.

"Killian is missing! I know you had something to do with it!"

Emma is about to open the bars of Elizabeth's cell but her father stops her. "Emma, no!" He yells. "She's locked up! How could she have done anything to him?"

"I'm starting to win you over, I can feel it." Elizabeth smirks.

Charming leads a fuming Emma into her office where Elizabeth can't hear them. "We'll find him, Emma." He consoles.

"How? He left no trace. None. It's like he just vanished... Like... magic!" She is struck with an epiphany. "Gold!!"

She turns to run, but Elizabeth is standing in the doorway, smirking.

"Wha-" Emma stutters. "How the hell did you--"

Elizabeth holds up the pin she used to pick the lock. "Pirate,"

"Ohhh, no. You're going right back in there." Emma begins to push her.

"You don't want to do that, love." She says, putting emphasis on Hook's signature line.

"And why not," Emma grumbles.

"Because I know who took your husband."

Silence.

"Who?!" Emma demands. "Tell me!"

"Ooh," Elizabeth smirks at her. "Tell me in a demanding voice. Chills."

Emma's had it. Face red with rage, she slams Elizabeth against the walls of her cell and holds her by the throat with her magic. The pirate laughs breathlessly.

"Emma! Stop! Put her down!" Charming yells.

Emma is deaf with rage.

"Who took my husband!?" She screams.

Elizabeth's smile fades. "Blackbeard," she whispers.

Emma releases her grip, letting the pirate fall to the ground. She gasps for air.

"I thought Blackbeard was dead!" David exclaims. "Killian killed him a long time ago!"

"Mermaids," Elizabeth gasps.

"Excuse me?" Emma asks impatiently.

"Mermaids. Hook and I threw Blackbeard overboard, yes, but he was rescued by mermaids. How do you think I got the Jolly Roger back?"

Elizabeth regains her composure and stands to face Emma and her father.

"So this is your fault!" Emma yells. "You brought him here!"

"I did nothing of the sort! He must've followed me here!" The Pirate defends.

"How could someone possibly follow you to a different realm!?"

"I don't bloody know! But if you want to just--"

"Enough!!"

Another voice.

Regina, with Robin following closely behind.

"I can here you two yelling all the way down at Granny's!" She says. "Emma, instead of placing the blame, we have to start trying to find him."

"I guess you're right..." Emma admits.

"You," Elizabeth growls at Regina. "You!!" She charges at her, hands grasping at her throat.

Robin quickly jumps in front of her and give her a hard kick to the stomach. Charming comes forward now, grabbing Elizabeth to restrain her.

Elizabeth kicks and pulls against his grip. "You!! You killed them!! Everyone!! You took away everything I love!!"

Regina looks offended.

"Elizabeth, stop!" David yells. "The Evil Queen did those things! Not Regina! She's different now!"

"That doesn't change what she took from me!" She still struggles to free herself but the prince is too strong.

Regina bravely approaches to face Elizabeth. "I'm sorry for what I did. But please believe me when I say that is no longer me. Let me prove that by helping you find your captain."

Emma glares at her.

Elizabeth calms and pulls herself free from Charming's hold on her.

"Let's go then." She snaps.

"No way. You're staying here." Emma instructs.

Elizabeth backs away before Emma can grab her. "I know how to handle myself when it comes to pirates. Especially pirates like Blackbeard. If you want to find him, you best be bringing me."

"Sadly I agree with the pirate," David sighs.

Elizabeth smirks at him. "I told you we were getting along."
