Maya's pov
Sitting here in the car with a quite Y/N is something I've never seen, she's always the cheerful but what happened two weeks ago really got to her, *sigh* "You do know that you can tell me anything and everything, right?" I looked at her for a moment.
No response.
"Y/N look I know your scared to open up about something so tragic, but please just talk to me, I don't like it when your so silent"
I looked at her and she's clutching the locket around her neck and that's when I heard her sniffling, the moment I wanted to comfort her my wolf spoke 'Let her be M, as much as you want to reach out to her, she needs time, time to forget what happened' she said. 'But Su-',she cut me off 'Sh, wait I can feel something' she said,
'What is it?' I asked curiously. 'WAIT!! no...it's gone' 'Whose gone?' I asked, 'The answer to everything' and then she blocked me out, this stupid pickle.
"M-Maya?"
I turned swiftly only to see Y/N's puffy eyes and a runny nose
"Oh my sweety, here take these" I said, handing her the tissues with my other hand as one is busy driving the car.
"T-Thanks" she said, while wiping her tears and sputtering into the tissue to remove the runiness of her nose.
"Anytime L- Y/N" shit I almost said it, without even knowing.
"I want to ask something" she said, still sniffling.
"Go ahead, ask me" I said eventhough I appear to be confident I'm shit scared from the inside.
"H-Have you ever seen a w-wolf with electric blue eyes?" She said and I immediately stepped on the brakes, which made the tires screech and almost made us bash our heads into the front of the car, luckily we are wearing seat belts {and that's why students wear seat belts while driving they will survive even if they die cuz obvio a story but y'all need to be safe so, Wear Seat Belts ALWAYS ;)} (P. S. Don't drink and drive)
"Ayy you drunk or something?" She said, even though it seemed like a scolding, I'm glad she's coming back to how she usually is.
"W-When and where *ahem* did you see that particular wolf?" I swear if it was him I'm gonna make sure I'll kill him.
"Oh back at the hospital, while I was changing my clothes, it stayed there till I was done" she said as if it didn't FREAK her out at the fact that a person was watching her get changed, I'm gonna kill that punk of my brother.
"Y/N, didn't you get freaked out that a wolf was just staring at you while you were changing?" I asked.
" Mm.... no" she said, and that really shocked me.
"The thing is, I know it'll sound stupid but I felt comfortable no matter how piercing that gaze was" she said as if mesmerized, then she looked at me and said, "Close your mouth, if a bug goes in I ain't helping ya." She said, making me close my mouth shut.
After that we both started laughing for no reason at all.
"Sss ouchie" Y/N hissed, and I almost forgot about the fact that she's still recovering.
"So, shall we go?" I asked
She just nodded.
And we continued our journey back home.
