CHAPTER-4 : 'I MISS...'

It was almost midnight when Maya came to pick me up, I really wanted to get out of this hell - hole. Maya's home was quite far away from mine. The whole ride back to her home was silent, until she broke it.

"Ok first things first, *AHEM*, WHY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD IS YOUR LIP BLEEDING?! AND WHY ARE THERE BRUISES AND I'M SORRY NOT SORRY BUT DON'T YOU DARE LIE TO ME!!!" She said, panting after ranting for so long.

"You done?" I said.

"What th- mmf, ok calm down Maya, she's just gone crazy and isn't in her right mind, cuz WHEN I TOLD HER THAT SHE CAN LIVE WITH ME SHE CHOSE TO LIVE IN THAT FREAKING HOUSE, YOU DON-"

"CAN YOU JUST STOP IT!! I'M FREAKING DONE AND TIRED OF WHAT HAPPENED JUST A WHILE AGO, I JUST GOT DISOWNED GOOD DAMNIT!!! THE REASON I STAYED THERE AND SUFFERED ALL THAT WAS BECAUSE I LOVED MY FATHER EVEN AFTER WHAT HE DID!! TRUST ME MAYA NO MATTER HOW MUCH I WANTED TO ESCAPE, I COULDN'T BRING MYSELF TO DO IT." I said back, completely unknown to the fact that we have stopped in the middle of no where.

"Y/N I'm so sorry I didn't kn-"

"Please just don't, not right now, I'm at fault I screamed at you for no reason, I ju-" before I could finish, the memories from what happened at home recently came back like a forest fire.

My hands immediately went to my ears to block the sound, in that moment I closed my eyes, it felt like I was in a dark tunnel, completely lost but in that darkness I could see a pair of eyes, they weren't just any eyes they were amethyst with specks of grey like the clouds when it's about to rain, but when I was about to go near it, it ran away, no matter how much I tried to find it, it felt like walking into nothing.

"Y/N!! Y/N!! Get up please!!!" I could hear someone,

Even if I tried to open my eyes I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Maya's pov

Seeing Y/N in this condition where she isn't even talking hurts me more than ever, seeing her in this condition, I can't believe her only family disowned her, I need answers I need to know what happened but first I'm gonna ask how the hell she got so bruised up.

"WHY IS YOUR LIP BLEEDING?!, I'M SORRY NOT SORRY BUT DON'T YOU DARE LIE TO ME!!" I was panting, after screaming at her.

"You done?" She said.

Seriously? I mean she's seriously asking if I'm done?! Oh no I ain't done with you, there's so much I need to tell you and lecture you and here she's asking if I'm done?!

"What th- mmf, ok calm down Maya, she's just gone crazy and isn't in her right mind, cuz WHEN I TOLD HER THAT SHE CAN LIVE WITH ME SHE CHOSE TO LIVE IN THAT FREAKING HOUSE, YOU DON-" Before I could finish she started to yell at me back, when I looked at her I immediately put the brakes cuz in all honesty for a moment I saw her eyes change colour, 'Is it what I think it is?' Susan my wolf asked. 'I'm not sure of it S, but if it i-', yes I am a wolf, well part but I kept it hidden from her so as to not scare her away.

But before I could tell S anything that was on my mind, Y/N started screaming her hands went to her ears as if to block something, I asked my wolf about it but she didn't know, 'There's some sort of shield that's protecting her from me to see her'.

But before I could even process anything, she closed her eyes, and was about to hit her head into the front of the car.

Thanks for me being a special kind of wolf I caught her before she could hurt herself, and scooped her into my arms, I hugged her so as to give her some warmth, she's not warm like how she used to be, she's cold and numb to the bone.

"Y/N!! Y/N!! Get up please" I said.

I could feel it both me and my wolf that she's trying hard to open her eyes but she isn't able to.

"Y/N please just open your eyes" I said.

I could feel her jerk in my arms, I made her look at me, and the sight in front of me almost made me want to punch her one of a kind family. Eyes are puffy from crying, hair is a mess, she looked broke and worst of all she looked completely lost.

"Y-Your gonna stay with me from now, and before you give me the 'I'm a burden crap' you aren't a burden, if you are anything it's that you are my sister. Understood??" I said as if lecturing her.

"Roger that, commando" she said merely in a whisper, and we both chuckled.

I hugged her again but when I tried to make her sit on her seat, she didn't budge, so I had to push her and honestly this shocked me the most, blood was coming from her mouth, it made me numb, 'Don't just look at her, get to the hospital now!!' Susan said.

I reclined the seat till the back and made her to lie on it, and started the car, tears started to pour down my eyes.

"Amy your so done now" I said, my eyes changing their colour into a shade of grey with blue specks, 'Well I guess this is a good time to teach that witch a lesson, eh?' 'Oh Susan she'll get more than just a lesson, we were just waiting for when they will attack, and now they have, they planned all this, they knew.' 'And still they do M, but now is not the right time we don't know for sure is she is what we think she is, for now let's just wait cuz if she is her then she's an important role in this game'

Looking at Y/N one last time, I took her to the hospital.
