Chapter 2 The War Heats Up

*Jaunes pov.*

It's been several years since we arrived on Coruscant. Velvet and I had a rough time learning Galactic Basic but managed to get it after a while Velvet took a job working as a waitress for a restaurant and got well paid since she brought a lot of people in, I on the other hand took a job at the terminal where we got off helping people find what shuttle to take and to where, we bought our own place too, it's small two bedrooms, one bath, a kitchen and a living room. But it'll do untill we get our own ship to go looking for Remnant. It was late in the evening when I got home and was welcomed by a familiar face. "Hello Jedi master Kenobi, want can I do for you?" I asked as I saw Velvet with the newly appointed Jedi master. "I've come to talk to you mister Arc." Kenobi replied as I nodded. "Alright what can I do for you?" I asked taking a seat across from the blond haired man. "I've come to ask for your help, the Separatist have been making moves and we can't tell where they'll strike next, your friend here has told me that you have an execilent tactical perception, based on the stories she's told about your home planet." Kenobi explained as I nodded. "Alright what did you need me to do?" I ask as he pulled out a holodisk and placed it on the table showing the inner core, mid worlds and outter rim with some covered in blue and red. "We've lost the forest planet Endor, the snow covered planes of Hoth, and we lost our supply chain through Yavin 4, they have been hitting our weakest links and are slowly making head way, soon we plan on hitting their droid factory on Genosia, and put a hold on their forces... ""can I ask something? " I question cutting the Jedi off. "Of course, what is it?" Kenodi asked as I closed my eyes. "Has there been any movement on Genosia? " I ask earnings a wave of the head from the master. "No there has been no movement aside from the factory machines." Obi-wan said as I nodded. " it's a trap. " I said opening my eyes looking the man in the eyes. "They are probably waiting for you to attack, and ambush you when your forces are low. I would suggest sending a recon team to search the back side of the factory where the droid depot is, and plan accordingly, also Master Kenobi, you might want to head to Kamino, I heard around the shuttle that there's something wrong with the army. " I say as I heard rumors about a Jedi kill order. "Ask about Order 66, that's the code I heard about, I have a bad feeling that it's nothing good." I say getting a nod . "Thank you Mister Arc, I shall look into it, and thank you, we will send a reconnaissance team to Genosia and look into this trap and I will personally look into this order 66, I dont like the sound of it, I'll let you know if I find anything since you've been a great help to the Republic. " Kenobi said as I just smiled. " Obi-wan, call me Jaune, we've known each other long enough to drop the formalities." I say calling the Jedi by his name. "You are quite right, Anakin has been coming along nicely with his training he should be field ready is a few months, let's just hope his emotions don't influence his actions." Kenobi said making my smile turn to a frown. "Obi-wan, I've been meaning to ask, why shut out your emotions when being a Jedi, as opposed to using them?" I ask wondering why you had be emotionless to use the force. "It's to let the force use us instead of the other way around, since I could remember the Jedi have always done this, while the Sith use their emotions to force the Force to their will." Kenobi said confusing me even more. "I still don't understand, why be one or the other, if you use your emotions your a Sith while shutting them out makes you a Jedi, when being a Jedi should mean showing compassion, love, and at times rage if someone you care about is indanger. While being a Sith would mean bringing chaos and destruction. Wouldn't you agree with that statement Obi-wan? " I ask as I earned an nod from the man. "I think you may be right, when I was a Padawan I had the same thought, and Anakin has asked the same question you have but not at the length you had but the same none the less, I feel that the elders of the Jedi counsel have done things the same, but at the same time, I do not think they are right. Anakin has the making of a Jedi knight, but at the same time his emotions are still there." Kenobi said as I nodded. "Then let him keep those things, he should feel love, hate, anger, compassion. But he should also remember the path of the Jedi I fear if his rage runs rampant it could cloud his judgement and make him do something he would regret, also how is everything going with freeing his mother?" I asked knowing his mother's enslavement to that gungan that tried to take Velvet years ago. "It's been a pain I must say, Anakin has been making payments and I have sent some as well, but we're not quite there yet." Obi-wan replied. "I see, anyways it's been good to see you old friend, and think about what we've spoken about, trust your instincts, and in the force, it wil never steer you wrong. " I say standing up with master Kenobi following as we shook hands. "Of course I will, I trust Anakin, and I believe he could be the one to change the Jedi order for the better. " Obi-wan said as he left. "I just pray he doesn't let his rage control him." I say as Velvet joined me as we saw our friend out. "Obi-wan, might I ask you a favor?" I ask as the Jedi was outside our home. "What is it?" The blond replied. "Let me take the reconnaissance mission, I'm well known in the shuttle service, and have been off Coruscant as a cargo mover so it wouldn't seem suspicious for a civilian to deliver metals and other materials to Genosia. " I offer as Kenobi nodded seeing my point. "I will talk with the counsel about it, but your plan is sound and well thought out." Obi-wan said as we said out goodbyes and headed to bed. *The following morning.* I had gotten out of bed and done my somewhat normal routine, shower, morning training with Velvet, breakfast then off to work, but today was the first time I do a shuttle run by myself. "Alright kid, your shuttle has already been uploaded with the coordinates to your loading and unloading. First you head off to Kashyyyk and collect the payment for the second location which is off on Naboo, collect the shipment of building materials and return to Kashyyyk, simple enough? " the flight captain asked as I nodded. "Yes sir, fly to Kashyyyk get the payment, head to Naboo to collect the supplies and make the payment, finally head back to Kashyyyk with the supplies for unloading. " I relay the orders making the man smile. "You certainly do know how to get on someone's good side kid, now get going youre wasting time standing here." The flight captain said as I gave him a salute before getting on the ship. "Jaune hold on a second." The flight captain said getting my attention. "Yes sir?" I ask as he handed me an envelope. "What's this?" I ask as the man shook his head. "Don't know, found it on my desk this morning, take a look at it while on the trip." The boss said as I nodded before getting back on the ship and taking off. As I flew into space I looked back and smiled. Ever since Velvet and I got sent to another galaxy I enjoyed seeing the planets from space and seeing the world before stepping foot on them. I looked over to the envelope as I prepared to jump deciding to take a look I ripped it open and saw a holo disk and placed it on the console to play it. "Hello Jaune, if you're watching this that means your plan was accepted by the council and when you return from your work you will head to the Jedi Temple to explain your plan in detail and how you plan on doing things, and just to warn you the council members will try to persuade you to do things their way, but considering how sharp your mind is and how well you know the Force you shouldn't have to worry. Other then that good luck Jaune I'll be off to Kamino as you're hearing this message. May the Force be with you." The holographic image of Obi-wan Kenobi said making me smile. "Their really going with my plan!" I exclaimed as I suddenly had a feeling something was off, I looked around the vast emptiness of space and saw nothing before shrugging it off and heading to Kashyyyk. I entered hyperjump and decided to check the comms so I could contact the Wookie Chief and a translation droid. After calibrating and setting up the communication link I waited until I got closer to the Wookie home world. A good hour later I reached Kashyyyk and exited hyperjump I saw the water and forest covered planet I prepared for my descent onto Kashyyyk and opened the comms. "This is Jaune Arc from the Coruscant Cargo and Shuttle service, I'm here for the payment to Naboo. Over." I say as I could hear a voice on the opposite end of the call. "This is A1-13 translator for the chieftain of the Wookie tribe. Your request to land has been permitted please follow the highlighted path. " the droid said as I saw a trail of lights coming from the treetops. "Roger that I'm making my descent." I responded slowly flying along the lights before making my way to the platform. Once their I headed to the bay doors and lowered them revealing the large Wookie wearing a headband with different feathers on it. "It's an honor to meet you Chief of the Wookies." I say bowing my head earning a odd mix of roars. " The Cheif says thank you for your kindness and your respect, and he wishes for you to have this as a gift. " the droid translates as another Wookie comes forward holding a plate of what looked like Salmon. "Oh thank you Chieftain, I'd gladly accept the gift, and if I may sir, would you please bring the payment for the supplies you have asked me to transfer from Naboo?" I ask wondering if the chief forgot about the reason he called us before getting a loud roar. "The chief says. Of course here is the payment to the Queen of Naboo for our supplies." The droid said as a large box was loaded onto the ship and I was handed a bag that was extremely difficult to hold due to is weight. "Thank you Chieftain, and thank you for the gift." I say giving the Wookie another bow before returning to the ship and hearing one last thing from the Wookie chief. "The Chief says you are most welcome, and you are welcomed here anytime." A1-13 said as I smiled and sat the bag next to the box tieing them down so nothing breaks or gets damaged from transportation and the jump. "I would be honored to visit your home again, untill next time." I say waving to the chief as the bay door closed and I headed back to the bridge for take off. "This is Jaune Arc am I clear to depart?" I ask getting the green light in form of a Wookie roar. "This is Remnant1 taking off." I say using the ship's name as I flew off Kashyyyk. "The is Remnant 1 calling base do you read?" I ask as the boss responded . "Yeah Remnant 1 I read you, how are things going?" He asked as I smiled. "Everything is flying smoothly, im making the jump to Naboo right now." I say earning a chuckle. "Great to hear kid, did that overgrown hairball give you any trouble?" The man asked making me frown. "No sir, the cheif was very kind, he along with the payment to Naboo he gave me a fish from the planets ocean." I say earning a gasp. " What, how'd you manage to earn a fish from the Chief!? " the boss asked as I explained how the meeting went. "Huh well color me impressed, you manage to earn his respect and become an honorary Wookie, only a few people earn that one of them being that old Jedi Master Yoda. I guess he sees great things coming from you." The man said making me smile. "Thanks boss, I won't let anyone down, not again." I say remembering the day Velvet and I left Remnant. "I know kid, I know." The boss said as the comms disconnected. "Alright next stop. Naboo!" I exclaimed jumping into hyper space making a course for Naboo. "Hmmm I wonder if Padmé will be there?" I ask myself as I haven't seen my distant relative for a while. I made my jump to hyperspace and took a nap to past the time since its nearly an hour jump fro. Kashyyyk to Naboo. After a forty-five minute nap I straightened up the seat and looked at the navigation system before before prepping to exit hyperspace. Once out I could see the familiar planet of Naboo, although most of the planet was forest it had two different races living on the Planet. The Gungan who are amphibious but have their homes underwater while the humans who live there take home to the capital city and the few towns that scattered throughout the planet. Of course there were other towns and cities across the planet but out of all of them Theed Palace what the place to visit I remember when Padmé had given Velvet and I a tour of the Palace before relinquishing the throne to become the senator of her home world. As I flew closer I got a comms request. "Please identify yourself, if you do not you will be treated as a hostile." The voice said from the comms. "This is Remnant 1 from the Coruscant Cargo and Shuttle service here to deliver the payment for supplies to the planet of Kashyyyk." I say as a beep came from the communication link. "Roger that Remnant 1, please make your way to docking station 3 for payment." The voice said as I made my way to the assigned station to deliver the payment the Wookies gave me. Once there I was greeted by the Royal Guards. "Hello I am Jaune Arc, and the crates here are the payment for the supplies to Kashyyyk." I say gesturing to the two large crates. The guards say nothing as they took the crates and loaded the supplies full of materials for the build on Kashyyyk. "Jaune!" I hear a familiar voice yell from behind me. I turn around and see Padmé entering hanger 3 before running up to me and hugging me. "Oh hey Padmé, it's great to see you again!" I say picking my cousin up and hugging her back. "So I guess you're the flyer taking the supplies to the Wookies?" Padmé asked as I nodded. "Yeah, the Chieftain was very kind and understanding that I couldn't stay for long. He even made me an honorary member of the Wookie tribe." I say earning a gasp from the Senator. "He made you apart of the tribe!" Padmé exclaimed as I nodded. "How, he is very kind yes but only to those he finds worthy of his trust, and....""Alert, all personal battle stations, CIS troops spotted out in the square! I repeat CIS troops spotted in the square!" A voice over the comms yelled as the royal guards joined us. "Ma'am we must get you to safty!" A guard with dark skin and black hair said as she nodded. "We'll have to talk later Jaune." Padmé said as she was pulled away. *beep beep.* My communicator started going off. "Hello?" I answer before hearing the familiar voice of Anakin Skywalker. "Jaune, you're on Naboo right?" he asked with worry in his voice. "Yeah Anakin, I'm here, and don't worry about Padmé she's safe." I say hearing a sigh come from the Jedi. "Good, I'm bringing the 501st to help with the fight, so if you can hold them off we'll be able to join you on the field, still got the thing Master Yoda gave you?" Anakin asked as I chuckled. "Never leave home without it." I say getting a laugh from one of my closest friends. "Good. Rex is everything ready yet?" I hear anakin ask as I heard the Captain reply. "Yes sir, we leave on your mark." Rex said as Anakin replied. "We leave immediately, see you soon Jaune, my the Brothers watch over you." He said referring to my planets gods. "And may the Force be with you Anakin." I say as the comms went off. "All forces to the Central Plaza, we'll make a defense there." I hear the Captain of the Guard say. "Sir, that's a bad idea." I say speaking up. "And why is that? " He asked as I looked at the holomap of the area the Droids are attacking. "Because if they split up and take the paths here and here." I start pointing out the two paths that could move troops behind the lines of defense. "They could surround us and force us into a surprise attack." I say surprising the Captain as he forgot about those paths. "And what do you suggest?" The captain asked as I looked at the map putting my index finger against my lips thinking. "Alright here's the plan, Captain you will take two teams and take the left path here to form a defensive end to push them towards the Central Plaza, Commander Davis will take two teams and take the right side doing the same thing, the remaining three teams are to take positions on the balconies on the gates and along the Central Plaza, I will act as a the bait to draw them in, once I do the teams in the Plaza will destroy them as they come through the gates." I say surprising the Captain and Commander for my strategy and how fast he put it together. "What are you waiting for.... MOVE IT!" I yell surprising everyone as they started running to their positions. I looked down at the Durasteel upgraded Crocea Moar, my blaster and the gift Master Yoda gave me. "Looks like its time." I say pulling a cylinder shaped object from the clip on my waist activating it revealing a golden yellow blade. It was a Lightsaber, a gift from Master Yoda for all the help I've given the Republic. I deactivated the saber before feeling the ground rumbling. I quickly made my way to the middle of the plaza to wait on the first wave of droids activating my lightsaber. "Ok remember, this is different from using Crocea Moar, it's destructive, and its able to reflect blaster bolts, trust your judgement, and act accordingly." I say as I remembered my training with Anakin and Obi-wan. As I waited I heard something coming from the waters. "This is Jaune Arc, all troops get ready, here they come." I say as I run towards several B1 battle droids cutting them down getting the others attention. "Jedi get him!" One droid yelled as more arrived and opened fire. I guarded the blaster bolts reflecting them back at the Droids destroying them. "This is Captain Marks we have no casualties here." I hear the Guard Captain say as Commander Davis called in taking the Captains palce. "Clear here as well." "Good, but keep your eyes open, because I have a bad feeling about this, and my gut is telling me we're about to have company." I say over the comms as several dozen B2 supers came up from the waters. "All units, we got Supers incoming!" I yel as the upgraded battle droids came to battle. As quickly as they came I started to make a backup plan in case on an emergency. "Take this!" I yell slicing the Droids down before they could react. " Luca look out! " I hear Commander Davis yell over the comms. "We got a problem, Magna guards came out of nowhere!" " Davis take the men an fall back regroup in the Central Plaza make a defensive at the entrance of the pathway. Captain Marks your troops do the same the Central Plaza will be the last stand untill Skywalker gets here. " I say as the Captain started his retreat. 'Where is he!' I thought as I don't think we'll last much longer. I pull Crocea moars blade from its sheath revealing it was a vibroblade instead of the durasteel the shield and handle was made of. "I hope this works." I say duel welding the vibro blade and lightsaber. As the Magna Guard came into view. "Ok very advanced, capable of killing Jedi, carrying a staff with electricity flowing through it and able to electrocute its opponents also carries an energy pistol. " I say tightening my grip on my weapons. Readying myself for a tough one. As I stared it down the Droid came at me with full speed. Reversing my grip on Crocea moar I watched as the Magna guard swing down its staff as I guarded against it with Crocea Moar, using the lightsaber I try to cut it down but the Magna droid leaped back avoiding the slash. "Ok that didn't work the way I hoped." I say aloud as I started the clash. This time leading with the lightsaber cutting the staff in half. "Ha!" I say smiling as the Magna droid looked down before looking at me and spun its hands making both ends straight before copying my stance making my smile turn upside down. "Oh crap." I say realizing it's avle to adapt. "Yeah that one's on me." I say the droid ran at me. We traded blows attacking and defending, dodging and blocking. We keep at this for several minutes surprised that the Captain or Commander haven't called in and no other droid have joined the fight. We back off once again I'm struggling to get one good hit while the Droid does the same. I start breathing heavily as I smiled st the Droid. Beforw seeing it pulling something from being its back. I watched carefully as he pulled out a Holodisk and tossed it to the ground activating it. "Did you find him?" A clocked figure asked as the Droid pointed at me. I watched as the figure turned around suddenly getting a chill down my spine. "So you are the one has a yellow lightsaber." The man said as I looked down at my saber. "Who are you?" I ask as I took in the facial features and body type. "I am Darth Sidious, Dark lord of the Sith. But I know not your name young man." The man said as I took a deep breath collecting my nerves before looking at the man where his eyes should be. "My name is not important at this moment, but I have a feeling you already know my name, as we have met before." I lie as I have only met the Jedi at the temple on Coruscant, and several Senators as well as Chancellor Palpatine. "Hehehe, so we have, I've known you were a smart one, but to see that we have met before surprised me. Now boy, do tell who am I?" He asked as I was still putting piece in place. 'someone who's a high ranking, someone with tabs on all Jedi, and someone who's aware of every move the Republic makes as well as the movements and and the weaknesses in the chain of command.' I thought as only one person fit that criteria making my eyes go wide. "Chancellor Palpatine, why am I not surprised." I say as I stared down the Dark Lord Darth Sidious /Chancellor Palpatine. "Well now this just confirms that you can not be allowed to live, Magna guard, kill him." Sidious ordered as I smiled. "Yeah not gonna happen." I say thrusting my lightsaber through the hologram and through the Droid before smashing the disk with my foot. "Captain Marks, did you get all that?" I asked as the communicator was green signaling it was on. "Yes, and I'm shocked to say the least, but Senator Amidala must be made aware of this development as well as the Jedi counsel." Marks said as I nodded. "Agreed, and it seems like the attack was called off, and General Skywalker will be here soon." I say as a LAAT flew down landing just above the waters. "Jaune, everything good here?" Anakin asked as I smiled. " Yeah, but I'm afraid I have some bad news, we have a traitor in the Senate. " I say surprising Anakin. "Who is it?" Anakin asked as I looked down. "Follow me, Captain Marks has the recording." I say walking to the Plaza where the defensive was being held. "Arc, General Skywalker, the recording disk is ready." Marks said handing me a small disk. "Thanks Marks, keep a defensive here incase of another attack, I still have a delivery to make, Anakin, call the Jedi counsel and set up a meeting, and have all the holocrons moved somewhere off planets. I fear something big is coming and the Jedi order is going to be hit by whatever it is." I say as Anakin nodded knowing if I said something it was true. "Alright, just get that delivery done." Anakin said as heleft with Rex close behind. "Rex, could I have a second with you?" I ask as the clone looked at Anakin before getting the ok. "Sure, what is it?" Rex asked as I smiled at him. "It's Chancellor Palpatine, if you get any calls from him do not answer them, pass that along to all fleets and bases." I say getting a nod from Captain Rex. "Got it, also the General is getting a Padawan should be on board any day now." Rex said making me laugh a bit. "Oh man bet Anakin isn't to happy about that." I say as Rex nodded. "He sure isn't, I'll be sure to pass this information to the other troops, block all communications with Chancellor Palpatine." Rex said before running off to the LAAT. I watch at the ship flew off before heading to hanger 3 to get my ship and head back to Kashyyyk. *three hours later* after getting my ship ready and making sure all the supplies were loaded I left Naboo and headed back to Kashyyyk to drop it off and getting a ursa hug from the Chieftain before leaving once again making a special stop to the Jedi temple on Coruscant for the meeting. "Sorry I'm a little late to the meeting Master Yoda. I had to make a stop on Kashyyyk to drop off the supplies from Naboo." I explain earning a nod from the Jedi. "Understand I do, important, your job is." Yoda said as I let out a sign the relief. "Now Skywalker said you have important information to show us, something about a traitor in the Senate?" Master Windo asked as I nodded. "Yes master Windo, now for awhile I had a feeling something was wrong with how this war has been going, and how the Separatist movement have been hitting all the weak links in the Republic chain, and while I was on Naboo a small platoon of droids attacked the capital. I say surprising the counsel. "He's right Master Windo, when Me and the 501st arrived as reinforcements the Plaza was covered in Droids." Anakin said earning a nod from the dark skinned Jedi. "Continue." Windo said as I nodded. "Of course. The Royal Guards and I held off the offensive attack when a Magna droid came in. It killed several guards before I got its attention on me. We fought for a while until it pulled out a holodisk and tossed it the ground activating it, revealing a Dark Lord." I say making a random counsel member get to his feet. "Impossible, the Dark lords are dead." He said as Windo spoke up. "Master Druid, Mister Arc has helped the Republic for many years, and has giving tactical insight on several occasions, dispite not being apart of the army, not only that, he has also been given the title of Jedi knight contrary to having no connection to the Force. So I trust his word, and if he says something I believe him." Master Kenobi Said joining in on the meeting. "Glad you could join us Master Kenobi, what took you so long?" Master Windo asked as Kenobi stepped forward. "I was making a special trip to Kamino, because mister Arc had asked me to look into a rumor that had been going around Coruscant." Kenobi said making me smile. "And what did you find?" Master Druid asked as I could tell he was thinking of a way to discredit me. "I found that there is an override command called order 66 that would turn the clones against the Jedi and subsequently execute any and all Jedi they find." Kenobi explained surprising the Jedi counsel. "Masters, there is another pressing matter at hand, this Dark Lord has been in our midst for a long. time, and has been seeing our every move." I say getting a nod from Yoda. "Tell us who the Dark Lord is, you must." Yoda said as I nodded. I take a deep breath wondering if the counsel will believe what I say. "It's Chancellor Palpatine, Chancellor Palpatine is the Dark Lord." I say as Master Druid laughs at me. "Master Yoda what this boy says cannot be true, it is preposterous and on top of that he is caucusing the Chancellor of the Senate." Druid said as I looked down before I remembered I had a disk with my conversation on it. "Master Yoda, if I may use an R2 unit to play an audio disk?" I ask as I received a nod from the oldest Jedi before R2-D2 came intoi the room. "Hey R2, can you pkay this for me?" I ask as the robot made a series of beeps and buzzes. "Thanks, here you go." I say placing the disk onto the tray for the disk. "Did you find him?" A man asked as to no one in particular. "So you are the one has a yellow lightsaber." The man said. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am Darth Sidious, Dark lord of the Sith. But I know not your name young man? " Darth Sidious asked. "My name is not important at this moment, but I have a feeling you already know my name, as we have met before." I say. "Hehehe, so we have, I've known you were a smart one, to see you remember that we have met before surprised me. Now boy, do tell who am I?" The dark lord said "Chancellor Palpatine, why am I not surprised." I replied. "Well now this just confirms that you can not be allowed to live, Magna guard, kill him." Darth Sidious ordered. "Yeah not gonna happen." I responded as the sound of a Lightsaber cutting through Magna guard before hearing the Droid fall to the ground. "Captain Marks, did you get all that?" I asked as the recording cut out. I turned to the Jedi counsel to see a look of surprise on Master Druids face. "This is most troubling, to think Chancellor Palpatine would be a Dark Lord. Mister Arc, I thank you for bringing this to our knowledge, but since you're now a target for the Sith it's best if you stay at the Temple." Master Windo said as I shook my head. "I'm sorry Master Windo, but I can't stay here. Me and my friend have been looking for our home planet, and whike we do consider Coruscant home, we miss our family and friends, if I stay I would be leaving my friend to look all by themselves, and while they can take care of themselves I swore I would protect them, and I am not going to break that, as an Arc my family has always kept their word, untill the end." I say getting a nod from the master. "I understand, in that case, I propose you be an admiral for the Republic. You can even bring your friend with you, you'll be in charge of space combat, and ground forces. As well as travel to different planets, what do you say?" Master Windo asked surprising everyone in the room. "You're offering me a fleet to command, are you sure I'm qualified for that?" I ask wondering if master Windo was serious. "You staged a defense against a CIS platoon, defeated a Magna guard, given tactical insight on countless missions and done so without any rewards or payments from the Republic, not only that, you have been given the title of Jedi by master Yoda for your actions despite having no connection to the Force, and as I just learned also became an honorary member of the Wookie tribe on Kashyyyk." Master Windo said as I just scratched my cheek with my index finger. "If you ask me you are more then qualified, even more so then most of the Jedi, or other military personnel. So what is your answer?" He asked I was wondering what velvet would think. "Master Windo with all do respect, I must ask I have time to think it over and explain this offer to my friend." I ask giving the Jedi master a bow out of respect. "Of course, I completely understand as I recall you work for the Coruscant Cargo and Shuttle service correct?" He asked as I nodded. "Yes sir." I say getting a nod from Windo. "Then I assume if you do accept the offer you'll have to put in a letter of resignation." Windo said making me nervous as I doubt that my boss would accept my letter since I am his best employee. "Thank you master Windo." I say bowing once again before leaving the temple and heading home. I walk into the small home Velvet and I shared and smelt something in the Kitchen. "Hey Velv, we need to talk." I say as I walked into the kitchen and saw Velvet holding a Hardlight dust copy of Crocea Moar running towards me"Jaune!" Velvet yelled as the copy disappeared before getting behind me. "Velvet what's wrong?" I ask as I never seen her this scared . "S-someone came through the window a few minutes ago so I made a copy of your weapon to defend myself but hewasn't even phased by it, I attacked him but it was like he could read my mind because he knew what I was thinking." Velvet said as I heard footsteps coming closer. I pull my lightsaber activating it releasing a soft yellow glow to the room as the power was cut. "Velvet go out the door and get to the Jedi temple, stay there untill I find you, I fear Coruscant isn't safe anymore." I whisper feeling Velvet's head nodding against my back. "Ok, just be safe." Velvet said kissing my cheek before leaving. "Alright show yourself!" I yell as the lights came back on revealing someone in what looked like a clone suit but it was different, this one was blue and silver with a jet pack on the back. Quickly jumping back I readied the lightsaber preparing to fight. "Look I don't want to fight, but if you leave now this wont end badly for both of us. Because I don't want to be a kill someone." I say as I looked at the man where his eyes would be. "Yeah, neither do I, but I was paid to kill you, your girlfriend did put up a fight, but if I didn't hear you come in let's just say she would be begging me to kill her." The man said making me scowl at him. "I dare you to touch her, I may be against taking another life but if anyone lays a hand on Velvet and hurts her I won't hesitate!" I say remembering what Cardin did to Velvet, what that Genosian did, and what countless others did. "And what are you going to do if you're dead?" He asked me as I prepare myself to finish him in one attack. "I'll make sure to make your life a nightmare." I say changing my aura into my legs to move faster before launching myself at the man who jumped over me. I grined as I twisted my body and slashed at his jet pack cutting it in half. "Hmmm, you weren't going for a kill, you took out my jet pack, to keep me here, smart I give you that. But what about this?" The man asked as a nozzle popped out of his wrist before a stream of flames came from it. I quickly backed up and swapped my lightsaber with Crocea Moar holding the sword and shield before rushing at him blocking the flame with the shield getting closer before breaking the flamethrower with the blade. "You're a good fighter, I'll give you that, not many Jedi carry a second weapon with them." He said as I shook my head. "You're only half right on that, I'm not a Jedi, the lightsaber was a gift from Master Yoda, I have no connection to the Force." I say surprising the man or I guess I did as he took a step back. "You're not a Jedi, yet you fight and act like one. Just who are you?" He as I lowered my weapons. "My name is Jaune Arc of the Republic, while I may not be a Jedi, I fight to protect people, no matter their race, gender, allegiance, or a clone, in fact several friends of mine are clones, Captain Rex of the 501st, commander Cody of the 212th, commanders Wolff, and Ponds. And several others." I say remembering the day I u met those men. "Why do you fight, I don't get it, you say you're not a Jedi, but for as long as I could remember younglings would ask if they could be something, an engineer, work Cargo, anything but a warrior, me I was forced into the fight, like every other clone." "Than don't fight, do something different, you talk as if you dont have a choice, but I asked Cody, Rex, and countless clones that if they had a choice to fight or live their own lives and do you know what they said? " I ask putting away my weapons to show I wouldn't attack him for now. "What did my brothers say?" He asked in return. They told me they would fight because there are more people who deserve freedom them themselves, that even if they are just clones they would die if it meant that a planet would be freed. " I say staring the Bounty Hunter in the eyes. "I can tell if someone is lying." Jango said as he pointed his wrist blaster at me but I stood strong never taking my eyes off of him. "But you Arc are no lier." He added as the blaster folded back into its compartment. "This bounty is terminated, I can tell my brothers made a good friend, tell Rex and the others I said sorry, I dont think they would be happy to see me after all the things I've done. " Jango said taking off his helmet. "Then how about making things right?" I ask getting an odd look from the clone. "How do I do that?" He asked as I smiled at him......

Fuck that was a pain in the ass to get done, sorry about the wait, but I wanted to make sure my spelling and grammar was better then last chapter. So yeah Jaune is going to be an Admiral, his fleet will be the 129th fleet with the ships being named after his time on Remnant, Beacon being the flagship, with Juniper, and Mantel being carriers. I will hammer out the rest of the fleet such as who will be there, as well as battle scenes, and if you guys have any suggestions to who should join Jaunes fleet I'm all ears.
