I was at home, up in the attic. It was Saturday, so we didn’t go to school.  I was listening to some music on my iPod and I got inspired to draw something. I grabbed my blank canvas and placed it on the easel, gathered all my materials and lay them on a wooden stool.

I wore an old, baggy, over-sized shirt with short so I didn’t get messy. My hair was up in a pony tail so it wouldn't disturb me. I collected the brush dipped it in the paint and began to paint. The iPod was still turned on and I was still listening to the song as I painted what was on my mind.

As the lyrics played, my hands danced around the canvas. With every brush stroke, the image became more and more vivid. I continue going until my work was complete.

I dropped my paintbrush and took steps backward to admire my work. I was amazed at what was in front of me. I never knew I could paint anything like that. It’s probably my favourite now.

I examine the design, its quite simple yet dramatic. It’s a giant eye that had a single teardrop falling off into a sea, probably full of tears. I wondered what that meant. I had no idea what I was doing while painting so it had a meaning that I am yet to find out.
