Oh, winter's white doth powder tree,
Snowflake beauty each so unique, so rare.

Fall you in such a furious flurry, like nature's own magic are thee,
Dainty, doily of winter's sky do I thee stare.

To you, my gaze admires the whispy, and free.
Winter's truest majesty.

So tiny, so fragile, thy existence like angelic gift,
To float, to flurry, so incredulous is my wonderment.

Still so fragile, deepest winter's darkens the rift,
No longer small, thou hast grown some to five-inch in size! Oh lovely, what joy! I beseech you, join this winters merriment!

That we of long life may be gifted the privilege to be witness to thy seasonal dance!
