Sometimes we get so exhausted living our story that our heart can't help but peek into the stories of others' lives.

The noble warrior, Macduff, is invited to stay at King Macbeth's castle, Inverness, as reward for defending Scotland. But Macduff has strong suspicion that Macbeth killed the last king, Duncan, not Prince Malcolm like everyone suspects. During his time at Inverness, Queen Rossalyn takes an interest in Macduff and how noble he is compared to her husband.

Loosely based on the events of the Throckmorton plot to overthrow Queen Elisabeth I leading onto the bond of association (or in this case the bond of attraction) and then the Babington plot. This is a retelling of these events to help you with revision although many creative liberties have been taken (including Babington and Throckmorton being in a homosexual relationship.

When a young shape-shifting woman named Avice Lyon is banished from her town upon suspicion of practicing black magic, she becomes depressed after living on her own with just her horse for so long. She rides into a new nearby town out of sheer desperation to live a normal life again, and soon realizes that her desired "normal life" may not turn out the exact way she wanted.

70,000 years ago, the wolf-dog Bites Back first encounters humans. It doesn’t go well. And when Bites Back dies, he learns that his choices are just beginning. He comes back as Dyak—a hunter-shepherd dog bonded to the boy Attu, whose tribe is crossing the great land bridge over the Bering Straits. Then he's Tekhe, a small saluki-like pet of a master embalmer to the Pharaoh Tutankhamen. Then, a sleeve-dog in the Chinese court of 800 BCE. Over the next 3,000 years, in Imperial Rome, medieval Afghanistan and France, Shakespeare's London, the arid north country of colonial Mexico, the muddy shell-shocked trenches of WWI, space-age Russia, the United States, and 21st Century Canada, Jack--the eternal dog--has a new master or mistress in each incarnation. As Julius Caesar gains power, he has his loyal "friend", Mark Antony, at his side. The two do everything together, but little did you know they are actually two gay men, in the heart of Rome, trying to lead their way up to success, which doesn't go as well as planned basically this is me making a gay fanfic out of Julius Caesar bc i hate myself thank u shakespeare for making this possible with your array of questionably homoromantic dialogue :'-)

This story is part of an anthology, and I'll just be including a sample of it. Here's how it goes- England, Yuletide 1585 The dice have been loaded against Mistress Julia Wentworth. Little wonder she no longer trusts a soul-except for the street urchin she rescued. Having fallen in love with-and been abandoned by-a murderous traitor, Julia's been turned out by her family and left to scrape what living she can on the brutal London streets. When a goose strays into her yard, it looks as if she'll at least have something to feast on at Christmas. Exploding back into her life in pursuit of his goose is Myall Farrar, a scarred clerk estranged from his miserly father. Myall can't afford to lose the bird for which he's scrimped and saved, because his sister's future depends upon putting on a good show at Christmas. Are Myall and Julia too greatly changed to rekindle the spark between them? Is there any hope of goodwill within their families? And-perhaps more importantly-will the goose prove itself worth saving from the butcher's knife?

It was fashionable, in seventeenth century England, for nobles to have their portraits painted with the novelty of a black-skinned servant at their side. Some of these servants were black children. In 1579, an African girl arrived in England. By 1600, she had grown from a prop in a portrait to the beloved member of the household of the Lord Treasurer of England, the lifelong companion of his ward, the Earl of Southampton, and a maidservant to Queen Elizabeth I. She also became the infamous 'Dark Lady' of Shakespeare's Sonnets. This is her story.
