Not Your Average High School Experience follows the life of Charlie, a teen at high school. Watch her weave in and out of popularity, love and other weird and wacky things too, as the story goes on. Warning, that this is definitely not your average high school experience!

The last thing he expected to find while attending Will's new play was the woman who would change his life... if only his magic didn't fail him.

April is national poetry month. And these are the poems I wrote. One for everyday of the month.

A young man's impetuous career choice doesn't quite turn out as planned.

“Kiss me.” Her mouth dropped open, his statement seemed to bring her to her senses as she pushed away from him stuttering and flushing a bright hue of red, all at once. It is the 1500's and England has seen the first Queen of England. Emma Cardon loses her memory due to a tragic accident, but who should be there to nurse her back to health? A dashing handsome gentleman that seems to neglect propriety at every turn. Will Emma succumb to his affections or will she escape in time? Unbeknownst to both a shadow dogs their footsteps and colours their happiness grey. The Elizabethan era has begun.

It would also be folly to fall in love with her when he can't be sure where her loyalties lie. After helping Kit foil a plot against the queen, Alys' life is at risk from her cousin's nefarious schemes. Estranged from Kit, she's forced to make a desperate decision. Should she protect her family, or follow the demands of her heart? N.B. This is just a sample, the first chapter from the book.

Don Pedro, Claudio, and Leonato trick Benedick, while Hero and Ursula trick Beatrice into believing that the other is in love with them, and get Benedick and Beatrice's feelings to change, as the two go from being enemies to lovers by the mischievous scheme of their young friends But when Claudio, who is in love with Hero, on their wedding day, suddenly shames her, she faints, and to uncover the truth, Hero's family pretends she has died

The world of poetry and literature have taken a downfall. When you think back to Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Rainer Maria Rilke, William Blake(my personal favorite), there has been a drastic change. Yes, over time change is expected, but I believe we can all agree that the (what I call) "Elizabethan" wording and word choice is the most elegant. With this being said, I challenge you to write about an inanimate object every day. You can use whatever type of wording you want. You can make it a ballad of how a chair became the setting of an old man's last breath, or anything you can find. Good luck to you all and please send me the link to your poetry in my comments. It was fashionable, in seventeenth century England, for nobles to have their portraits painted with the novelty of a black-skinned servant at their side. Some of these servants were black children. In 1579, an African girl arrived in England. By 1600, she had grown from a prop in a portrait to the beloved member of the household of the Lord Treasurer of England, the lifelong companion of his ward, the Earl of Southampton, and a maidservant to Queen Elizabeth I. She also became the infamous 'Dark Lady' of Shakespeare's Sonnets. This is her story.
