Harry's POV

A few weeks had passed and ever since that night Louis and I have hung out every chance we got. We've done it a few more times and made out in about every place we can get to in this hospital. He comes to my appointments and treatments and I go to his. We haven't discussed what our relationship is but by the looks of it Id say we're dating.

Sometimes we go out into town. Last week we went ice skating and it was the cutest thing ever. He
had never been ice skating before, so he was really bad, so I had to hold his hand the whole time. I wasn't complaining though. We've mainly been hanging out in my room because Lisa feels like she can 'keep an eye' on us better. She was really mad when she first caught us and found out that we'd been messing around but I told her I was eighteen and had the right to consensually sleep with whoever I wanted. She couldn't argue with that and just left it alone.

We had just got back from lunch when Louis told me he had a appointment he had to go to. I told him I would go with him but weirdly he said that no one was allowed to be in the room other than him, which is totally a lie. Doctors recommend you bring a friend of family member. I didn't put up a fight though I just told him to come to my room as soon as he's done. He agreed and we went our separate ways.

——

I was kinda of worried about Louis and why he didn't want me going to his appointment. Was something wrong? Should I have insisted I go? I start to stress but calm myself down by picking out a movie for us to watch when he gets back.

——

I'm scrolling through instagram when the door opens.

"Hi." He's so cute.

"Hey! How was your appointment?" I pat beside me on the bed for him to come lay down.

"It was fine." He's short with his answer but obeys and crawls into the bed next to me.

"Okay.... Um I picked out a movie for us. Have you seen 'Fault in out stars'?" I've seen it a thousand times but I still love it.

"Duh! It's a classic." I laugh and we start watching.

——

We're 3/4 of the way done with the movie when I get hit with a wave of exhaustion. It's random but I don't think much about it. By the time the movies over I can barely keep my eyes open.

"Can we take a nap?" I close my eyes as I speak.

"Sure." I slip my arm under his neck and he rests his head between my head and shoulder. Then he wraps his arm around my chest and we fall asleep.

——

We've been asleep about an hour and fifteen minutes when I abruptly wake up. I'm freezing cold but my shirt is drenched in sweat. What the hell? I feel sick, I rush out of the bed leaving Louis peacefully sleeping. I slide into my bathroom and as soon as I reach the toilet I empty my stomach into it. I feel miserable. I hear Louis rustle, I try to call out for him but my throat burns. Luckily he notices I'm gone.

"Harry?" I hear him get out of bed.

"Harry!?" There's worry behind his voice as I continue yakking into the bowl.

"Harry, oh my God!" He dives down beside me. He's panicking and I can see it on his face.

"Some-" I can't make out a sentence without coughing. "Somethings wrong." I'm barely able to make out the words.

"Okay. Okay. It's fine everything's gonna be fine." He tries to reassure me. I point to the red button  on the wall by the shower. He reaches over and presses it. I lean into his body and he wraps his arms around me brushing my hair back.

Within seconds I hear Lisa's voice.

"Harry!" She standing in the bathroom door way before I know it.

"I just found his throwing up, there was blood, he's sweating and coughing. I- what's wrong with him?" Louis so distraught, I feel so bad.

Lisa runs out and yells into the hall for a stretcher and back up. Im barely able to comprehend what's going on before I'm lifted onto a stretcher, hooked up to oxygen, and attached to multiple tiny patches connected to vibrant colored tubes. I don't see Louis any more, just the flashing of the large hospital lights wizzing by above me.  If i'm being honest I'm scared. Stuff like this hasn't happened since I was diagnosed with leukemia. I can't die. I have so much going for me now.
