Reaching for nebulas
My fingertips touch
The dots in the black sky.In this atmosphere
You seem so far away
I beg you to come to me
And stay.My arm is stretched out
To the galaxies above
While I lay in the cold grass
Of a field where memories
Were made.The galaxies are unreachable
So I try to get to your eyes
Look how they shine
So brightly in the dark
Night sky.And you look up as I look at you
Your hair is spread like
Sunrays shining through
The clouds on a gloomy day.A space explorer, I lose myself
In your optics as they see
Through me.An astronaut, flying to the moon
In this atmosphere I realise that
I love you.
