I look at Tyler waiting for the explanation behind his growl.
He stays silent for quite some time.
"Let's go to class Belle. We need to talk," Mike says slightly tugging me away from Tyler. I walk away with him.
Before we get to our classroom, Mike stops and asks me,"What's with you and Tyler, Belle?"
"Nothing Mike."
"Belle don't lie to me."
"He just got back Mikey."
"I don't want you to get hurt Belle."
"Mike. He-"
"He's what?"
"I have a feeling like he'd never hurt me."
"Belle. I've seen you get hurt by almost everybody at this school and I don't want to see you get hurt by him."
"Mike. I know he won't hurt me."
"Belle. Don't risk it. Join my pack."
"Tyler's dad won't let me. You already know."
"Just because you're not seventeen yet, doesn't mean anything."
"Mike. I haven't shifted yet. They want to see what I'm capable of doing."
"The day after your seventeenth birthday, you're joining my pack. Okay belle?"
"Yes Mike. We'll see."
"Belle?"
"Mike. I need to wait to see if I find my mate in my pack."
"Alright Belle. Lets get to class."
After school, Tyler corners me.
"Who is he?" He asks.
"Who?"
"That guy you were with."
"Mike? Don't worry about him."
"Tell me who he is." He uses his alpha tone.
I start shaking.
I stay silent.
"Anna?"
I look away from his hypnotizing eyes.
"Anna?"
I wish I could leave.
"Anna? Annabelle?"
I feel him wrap his arms around me.
"Anna? Forgive me."
I feel my body stop shaking and start to relax.
"Tyler?"
"Yes Anna?" He says.. Lovingly?
"Can I walk home now?"
"Will you go on a date with me?"
"Are you going to let me go if I say no?"
"Nope."
"Fine."
"Thanks Anna. Be ready at six tomorrow evening."
So now I have a date
