Chapter Twenty-Five- Andley

-2 weeks later -

Andy's POV

I grabbed Quinn's pacifier off of the changing table with my free hand and placed it in Quinn's mouth. He sucked on it but he kept staring up at me. I sighed, trying to get Quinn to go to sleep was always a mission. I had already sang to him 3 times, he just wasn't sleepy.

Well, as you can see, we were already home from the hospital. We had been home for like a week and a half already. At the moment, I was trying to put Quinn to sleep but it really wasn't working out.
"How can you not be sleepy? You've been up since like 6:00 in the morning." I said to Quinn but I knew he obviously couldn't respond. Instead he just kept staring at me and sucking on his Batman pacifier. I obviously picked it out, if it were up to Ashley, Quinn would've been sucking on a Hello Kitty pacifier.

I started rocking him back and forth gently while singing a lullaby and slowly, his eye lids started drooping and soon enough, they were closed. I continued doing this until I knew that he was definitely asleep. Then I laid him in his crib carefully and leaned down, kissing his head.
"Nighty night, Quinn. I love you so much." I whispered before standing up straight. I grabbed the baby monitor and turned it on then placed it next to the crib. I turned off the light then left the room, leaving the door open a bit. I walked to the living room and laid on the couch and turned the tv on. I was some what lonely considering the fact that Ashley wasn't home. He told me that he went to his grandparents house for something but I don't quite remember what it was.

I picked up the remote and flipped through channels until I was watching cartoon network. I put the remote down then grabbed Quinn's baby monitor off the coffee table and turned it on before putting it back. I turned my attention back to the tv which was playing Adventure Time, I fucking loved this show. Then I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out, thinking it was Ashley, I answered it quickly.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey babe, I just wanted you to know that I'll be home late." I heard Ashley say.
"Alright." I sighed.
"I love you." Ashley said.
"I love you too." I said and with that we hung up.

I closed my eyes and started falling asleep but then I heard my phone ringing again.
"Hello?" I answered it.
"Andy!!!!" I heard CC's voice scream on the other line.
"What..?" I asked, fully awake now.
"The manager of that bar called back and he said we could perform there Saturday!" CC exclaimed.
"Holy Crap!" I exclaimed, smiling to myself. It wasn't a big gig but hey, it was still a gig. You see, CC and I formed a band along with Jinxx who was Sammi's boyfriend. Turns out he's a cool guy. It it had only been 2 weeks since I got home but that didn't stop me from forming a band. The only thing missing from our band was another guitarist and a bassist..
"Yea he said that he would email us the details." CC said, I could even hear the smile in his voice.
"Alright-" I replied but was interrupted by a crying noise coming from the baby monitor.
"I'll talk to you later Cee, Quinn's crying." I sighed.
"Alright, talk to you later man." CC said before hanging up. I put my phone in my pocket then got up and walked to Quinn's room. I heard his soft wails echoing inside his room. I quickly walked to the crib and picked him up.
"It's okay Quinn, I'm here, don't cry." I spoke softly while rocking him gently. He just kept crying no matter what I did. I really wished Ashley was there to help me..

Ashley's POV

I took the keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door, stumbling inside. I was completely wasted, Jake and I had been drinking all night. I stumbled in to the bedroom and sat on the bed. Andy turned a little bit beside me. I kicked off my boots and laid down, closing my eyes.
"Ashley?" Andy mumbled, still half asleep.
"Hey Andy Dandy! That rhymes!" I laughed drunkenly.
"Are you drunk? I thought you went to your grandparents house?" Andy asked, sitting up.
"Nooooooo. I was with Jakey Pakey." I giggled, then burped. Andy sighed and laid back down. That's all I remembered before I fell asleep.

-Next day-

Andy's POV

I wiped Quinn's mouth with his bib then lifted the bottle and started feeding him again. It was the next morning and Ashley was still asleep. I was pissed at him though, I didn't think he was going to be drinking while he was out. He didn't even tell me he was gonna hang out, he told me he was going to his grandparents house. Maybe he did go to his grandparents house but hung out afterward. I guess I was also mad because while he was having a good time, I was home taking care of Quinn and what not. Don't get me wrong, I love Quinn and I love being with him, it's just that I've been exhausted lately and it would've been nice to have someone help me out. I pulled the bottle away from Quinn's mouth seeing that it was empty. I put a wash cloth on my shoulder and then started burping Quinn. I patted his back lightly but still hard enough for him to burp and spit up somewhat. After I finished doing that, I wiped his mouth with his bib again.
"Andy is there any aspirin somewhere?" I heard Ashley's voice call. I stood up from the chair I was sitting in and walked to our room, still holding Quinn. Ashley was sitting on the bed with his head down.
"Check the bathroom." I told him. He got up and walked to the bathroom. I walked to the bed and laid down with Quinn laying on my chest. I kissed his head and smiled to myself. Ashley came back a few minuets later.
"Having fun with that hang over?" I smirked, resisting the urge to laugh. Ashley just glared at me and I started laughing. Ashley picked Quinn up from my chest and held him then say on the bed.
"By the way," I began, "I have a gig Saturday so that means you better be home to watch Quinn."
"But babe, I have plans for Saturday." Ashley complained.
"Well I have important things to do so you'll just have to not hang out Saturday." I said.
"Alright." Ashley sighed then kissed Quinn's cheek.
"I can't wait Ashy! Maybe the band will get discovered and then people will love our music!" I exclaimed happily.
"Well Mr. Rockstar, don't forget about your family here." Ashley smirked.
"How could I ever forget my two handsome boys?" I smiled then kissed both of their cheeks.
