Chapter Twenty- Andley

Andy's POV

"This is the living room." The lady said and Ashley and I looked around. We were looking for apartments at the moment. We've been looking for apartments all week and yet, we didn't find anything we liked. However, I had to admit, this apartment was very nice and had lots of space.
"Seeing as you're expecting, this is a great environment to raise a baby. There are child-proof windows in every room." The real estate lady told us. I finally read her name tag thingy and her name was Ms. Lucia. She led us to the master bedroom was pretty big, I really liked it.
"You like it, babe?" Ashley asked from beside me. I nodded before he grabbed my hand and we followed Ms. Lucia to the next room. I could picture this room as a nursery for Quinn, it was perfect. We looked around a little before she showed us the rest of the house which was the kitchen, the dining room, another bedroom, the laundry room and a bathroom.
"So what do you think?" Ms. Lucia asked.
"I love it. It's really nice. " I smiled.
"I think so too." Ashley agreed.
"Okay. The price is only 35,000$ since there is a special sale this time around." She told us.
I thought it was a great deal, Ashley would only be paying half of what his parents left him. We'd still have money to paint and buy furniture and we'd probably even have a bit of money left over.
"Are you sure you want this one, babe?" Ashley asked me.
"I'm positive." I nodded.
"We'll take it." Ashley said.
"Alright," Ms. Lucia nodded, "I'll get out the leases."
She walked away, leaving Ashley and I standing in the middle of our soon-to-be living room.
"This place is absolutely perfect Ash. It'll be perfect for Quinn when he's growing up." I said excitedly.
"You're right, it is very spacious. I think Quinn will like it when he sees it." Ashley smiled. After a few minuets, the lady came back with the papers Ashley needed to sign. I couldn't sign anything since I was only 15 so Ashley had to sign all the lease stuff cause he was a legal adult. He signed all the papers then he took out his check book and wrote a check for 35,000$. He handed it to her and she thanked him before taking the papers Ashley had just signed.
"You can come back tomorrow to get the key and then the place is yours." She smiled.

-1 week later-

"I think this is the last box." I grunted as I carried a heavy box in to the apartment.
"Andy!" Ashley exclaimed and took the box from me.
"What?" I questioned.
"You know you can't lift heavy things, you're pregnant." Ashley sighed and placed the box on the ground. I rolled my eyes and locked the front door.
"Finally, we have our own place." Ashley said.
"I know, and this place is freaking awesome!" I exclaimed, bouncing up and down excitedly. Ashley chuckled and walked over to me then gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Now for a little unpacking." He said then picked up a box from the floor.
"Ugh!" I sighed dramatically.

Well after what seemed like forever unpacking, we filled up the two closets in our room with our clothes, a few dishes, some of Ashley's instruments which was an acoustic guitar, 3 basses, and 1 electric guitar. We hung up a few posters in our room of KISS, Motley Crue, Pierce the Veil and a bunch of other bands. We unpacked a lot of other stuff, well I mean I tried to unpack stuff but Ashley wouldn't let me lift a lot of stuff. I actually find it adorable that he was being so protective.
"Tomorrow, we have to go furniture shopping and stuff Ashy." I told him.
"Alright," he nodded, "First thing in the morning, babe."
The only thing we had went shopping for was a bed which we had delivered to the apartment today so we'd have somewhere to sleep.

-Next day-

"Hmmm which color scheme should we have the apartment?" I asked Ashley as I flipped through a catalog from the department store.
"Ashley..?" I asked again, seeing as I got no response from him. I looked over at one of the display beds and saw Ashley in a pillow fort that he made while I wasn't looking.
"Don't you dare judge me." Ashley said. I started laughing at how childish he is. He was so cute hiding behind all those pillows. I walked over to him and took off the blanket which was sort of like the roof of the fort.
"Hey!" He pouted, looking up at me.
"And I'm supposed to be the younger one in the relationship." I laughed. He knocked down the fort of pillows and yelled, "RAWR I'M A DINOSAUR RAWR!"
"And you talk about me being adorable." I giggled. Ashley rolled his eyes and fixed the pillows.
"So, like I was saying, what color scheme should we have the apartment?" I asked. Ashley wrapped his arms around my waist and looked at the catalog I was looking through yet again.
"Black and white. I think it'll look nice." He said. I nodded and then we started looking for all of the furniture we wanted. After getting things for our living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen and guest room. Not to mention, we bought a washing machine and dryer for our laundry room. We also bought accessories like towels, more dishes and stuff for the kitchen, Curtains, you know stuff like that. We also bought black and white buckets of paint to paint some of the rooms with. All of our stuff was going to be delivered to the apartment tomorrow. Lastly, tomorrow we were going to go shopping for all of the baby stuff for Quinn's room. I knew I was super excited to go baby shopping tomorrow and it seemed like Ashley felt the same way.
