Ashley's POV
"Which crib do you like, Ashy?" Andy asked me. I looked at the display of cribs and pointed to a canopy crib. I thought it was cute, it was white and sky blue.
"I love it." Andy smiled. I walked over to the boxes of those cribs and got one. I put it in the shopping cart Andy had been pushing.
"We'll put it together later." Andy said and I nodded. Andy started pushing the shopping cart and we went down another aisle.
"Now, on to the most adorable part of baby shopping." Andy said excitedly. We were in the toy and stuffed animal section. He grabbed some stuffed monkeys which were adorable. He grabbed a few stuffed giraffes and some teddy bears. He grabbed a few other toys that dealt with shapes and colors or ABC's.
"To the changing tables!" Andy exclaimed before running off down another aisle. I chuckled and started pushing the shopping cart and following him.
"Look at this one Ashy, it's got lots of drawers and it matches the crib too!" Andy pointed at a changing table that I had to admit did look nice.
"Alright, love." I nodded and walked over to the box that had the changing table in it. I didn't think it was in separate pieces, it was too heavy. I carefully put it in the shopping cart. I started pushing the shopping cart and and we walked down the aisle. Then Andy gasped and squealed like a little girl.
"Look at this closet thingy! It's so cute and they have it in light blue!" Andy exclaimed.
"Alright then we'll get it and ask for delivery, babe." I said.
"Okay. Now, on to the clothes and diapers and stuff." Andy said and we walked to the next aisle. Some people look at Andy and whispered things to each other, no doubt about the fact that he was pregnant. Anyone with eyes could see that he was. However, Andy didn't seem to mind, he was so used to people talking shit about him that he was just completely numb to it all. Yea, it hurt sometimes, but most of the time he just shrugs it off. I think that was the saddest part about it all, that he was used to being treated like he wasn't human, he was used to being pushed around and treated like an animal.
"Ashy?" Andy said as he snapped his fingers in my face. I was obviously zoned out, thinking about the whole thing.
"Huh? What is it?" I asked as I ran my fingers through my hair.
"I was asking if you think these towels are good. Like I want them to be soft for his skin but not too soft." Andy explained, holding out a towel. I felt some of it and it did feel pretty soft.
"It's fine, babe." I told him. He tossed a few green, blue and aqua colored towels in the shopping cart then we started making our way further down the aisle. Then I saw a few popular girls from our school start walking toward us. It's no surprise that one of them are pregnant, they slept with everyone. Among those girls was my ex-girlfriend Kina, who smirked at me when she got closer to us. Andy was too busy taking diapers off of a shelf to notice them.
"Andy, come one, let's go to the next aisle." I said.
"Hold on, we need diapers and baby powder. Not to mention lotion for him." Andy said, tossing two big bags of diapers in the shopping cart.
"Hey Ashley." I heard that dreadful voice say. I looked beside me to see Kina and her stupid friends. Andy looked over at her and she just rolled her eyes at him.
"Hey freak." Kina sighed.
"Which one of you whores are pregnant?" I said bitterly.
"Tiffany is actually. You remember her right? You have fucked her before." She answered, crossing her arms. Andy just looked down and I started feeling bad.
"Why don't you just leave Kina, you're pathetic." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Whatever man whore," she said then looked at Andy, "Oh and emo freak, by the way, I hope you know your man has fucked literally every girl in school. Not long before he starts fucking other girls or guys behind your back, if he isn't already. It's all an act, I know Ashley and he doesn't love you one bit. Why would anyone love a stupid, worthless, slutty, hideous emo freak."
And with that she walked away.
"Andy, she's lying." I sighed.
"I know, it's just whatever." He said and started scratching his wrist.
"Don't ever listen to a word she says. She's a liar, I love you more than anything." I told him. He just nodded and stopped scratching his wrist. He grabbed a few more packs of diapers and tossed them in the cart, like nothing had happened. I knew he was hurting inside and I knew how badly he must've been wishing for a blade at the moment.
