((sorry for not updating in awhile. school's been keeping me busy))
------------
it's been about a week since the incident in the park and meeting shizuo. i never really saw him after that.
again, i found myself wandering around ikebukuro. i let out a small sigh when i realized i was back at the park. frowning, i moved to sit down in front of the park's fountain. the sound of the water was quite soothing. 'i kinda wish i had my book..' i thought to myself as i looked towards the sky. i closed my eyes. the day was still new and i had no clue what to do.
of course with ikebukuro being such a big city, there was always something to do. it was just better if you were with someone. i opened my eyes and looked around trying to think of something to do. that's when i saw him. my younger brother, izaya. i frowned at him when i noticed he was making his way over to me. 'maybe i should just leave now..' i was about to get up and leave but it was too late.
"fancy seeing you here, kanra-chan~" he mused in a sing song voice. "what do you want?" i asked with a glare. "someone is grumpy today, hm?"
"shut up." i hissed. "that's no way to treat your brother." that creepy smirk of his was plastered on his face. "i wouldn't be in such a foul mood if you weren't here." i stated bluntly. his smirk just continued to grow.
"anyways..." he trailed off before continuing again, "i want you to stay away from shizu-chan."
"..." i was confused. shizu-chan? i laughed. "what kind of name is shizu-chan?" i stood up and frowned. "listen i can see whoever i want to see. i don't need to listen to you." i started to walk off.
"he's a monster, kanra!" izaya called out after me. "he might hurt you~!" i just huffed and continued on my way.

laying on my couch, i stared at the ceiling. thoughts about what izaya said earlier crossed my mind. why should it matter. he's probably just messing with me. that's when there was a knock at the door. confused as to who was visiting me, i moved off of the couch and answered the door.
"ah! shizuo?"
"yo."
"what are you doing here?" i asked him. he just shrugged. "er- would you like to uh..come in or something?" he nodded and moved inside. that's when i noticed something. there was a pen. a pen was sticking right through his hand. he also had some in his leg too. "what the hell happened!?"
"some high schooler is what happened." shizuo replied. with a sigh, i moved into the bathroom to grab towels and medical stuff. i wasn't experienced like a doctor would be but i was experienced enough to know how to take care of a wound.
shizuo sat down on the couch and i began to take the pen out of his hand. i was pretty surprised that he didn't even flinch in pain or anything. "you need to be more careful." i stated while pressing the now blood stained towel to his hand. no reply came from him. as i was waiting for the blood to slow down, i realized something. the whole time i was holding onto his hand, i was blushing. he realized it too which made it worse. he did even pay attention to it so i guess that was good.
i finished cleaning up and fixing shizuo's wounds. "there~" i mused with a proud expression. i didn't do that bad of a job.
shizuo grumbled a thanks and stood up. "why'd you come to me anyways? like how'd you know to come here and not a hospital?" my question came out of no where and i instantly regretted it. shizuo stopped walking and shrugged. "guess you were closer."
one thing i realized was that shizuo was vague. especially with his answers.
