Chapter 7

( an hour later. )

They kept on travel as the weather was foggy and cold, making it difficult for the team to see from the snowy blizzard.

Dave was trying to sort out his injured arm while private was helping.

Private: take a easy, okay.

Eva, Kowalski are wrapped in a blanket to keep warm. Rico, corporal, skipper, king Julian and short fuse were eating jet snacks. Brad and Cass were sleeping, and lastly, Hope and classified at the driver and passenger seat.

Hope: how long is our destination, hun?

Classified: [ checks the navigation] 2 minutes.

Things hasn't been easy for the others since they've lost headquarters. A sorrow of silence that they could only hear are the blizzard and the jet.

Hope: * we need to talk about headquarters. It's bothering him. * Patrick, can we talk about-

Jet: you have reached your destination!

The others looked confused and couldn't see where the destination is at.

Hope: where?

Brad: did the jet put the wrong location or something?

king Julian spotted something.

King Julian: Fire!

Hope: [ confuse] what?

King Julian: there's fire over there, [ points the lights. ] and it's moving.

Classified took a closer look at the light and it revealed to be a polar bear, wearing a yellow winter coat and winter goggles while holding the aircraft marshalling wands to give a signal to tell them to land safely onto the north wind parking space. Once they did, the polar bear bangs on the door until they answered.

Guard:  HELLO! MY NAME IS RUSSEL, I AM THE MEMBER OF THE NORTH WIND EVACUATION UNIT! PLEASE STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND LET US TAKE YOU AND YOUR TEAM INSIDE!

The team agreed and steps out the jet, one by one  while being surrounded in the blizzard.

They followed the guard inside a large icy cave as the rest of the guards were taking the jet inside as well. Once they made it to the cave, the guards closes the 2 metal doors, which they have camouflage of icy walls for the outside entrances so no one could find the base.

Skipper: what is this place?

Guards: Welcome to the north wind vault 14 in the South Pole. If you are injured or your team has, please let us know and we will take you to the medic room.

Hope: my dad. He's been badly injured.

Dave: I told you, I'm-[ hiss ]

Guard: we will take you to the medics right away.

Short fuse: well, make it all of us, actually.

Guard: [ nod ] alright, Please, step onto the interior elevator so you can get your things, get to the medic room and meet with the others.

They stepped on the elevator and it pulls them down to a hidden base. Once they've arrived, the base was full of metal walls with white ceiling lights, metal floors with mustard yellow rails attached on both sides, and a metal door with their logo in a colour of black In front of them. There are metal stairs to climb down from.

After entering, they were greeted by guards to scan them and taking their blood samples to identify who they are before letting them pass, and then Lastly, they entered the main halls on the landing metal stair case as they can see the members of the north wind walks around the vault. The main hall was huge, full of grey metal from top and white concrete at the bottom, the hall has 5 big, arched doors with painted signage onto of the entrance in front of them that leads to different rooms.
