Arrival

September 1st, 1991-

Here stands the future Slytherin princess and her grandmother at platform 9¾ ready for your first year at Hogwarts. "goodbye grandma. I'll miss you!" You turned to  kiss her cheek before heading towards the train. You rushed on the train just before it takes off, you walk around looking for a compartment. 

A few seconds later a girl bumped into your shoulder by accident "holy cricket I'm sorry" you looked at the bushy brown hair girl and smile "its okay". "I'm Hermione Granger" she held out her hand greeting you "I'm Avery Rose-" you cut yourself off from saying your last name. why? Because my father told me not to tell anyone that I'm his daughter, he said it would be safer for me if no one knew I am his daughter. "hi Avery. its a pleasure to meet to meet you, but I have to get back to looking for this toad Neville lost" you both lightly laughed. "I can help you if you would like me to" she smiled, "yes please." you nod and smiled at her while walking down the corridor looking for the toad.

After asking a few people you finally reach the last compartment on the corridor, Hermione opened the door. There sat a dirt brown hair boy with glasses laughing at the ginger hair boy with a mouth full of chocolate pointing his wand at his rat. You lightly laugh at his facial expression as he sees Hermione staring at him,  "Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one." she sounded tired and annoyed. "no" the ginger hair boy replied, you look down at his hands and see he's doing magic "Oh, are you doing magic? Let's see then." you smiled while both you and Hermione walked in and sat down.

He cleared his through before he started. "uh-Sunshine, daises, butter mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!". ZAP. Nothing happened. He frowned disappointed and turned to his friend, his friend shrugged at him and looked back at Hermione and you as Hermione started to speak. "Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it?.....Of course I've only tried a few simple spells myself, and they've all worked for me. For example..." Hermione reached into her pocket pulling out her wand and points it to the dirty brown hair boy, with broken glasses. the boy tenses looking back at you and Hermione a couple of times, you give him an reassuring smile. "OculusReparo.". PING. the noseband disappeared as the glasses repaired.

The boy takes off his glasses admiring them in shock. "That's better, isn't it? Holy Cricket, you're HarryPotter. I'm Hermione Granger...and you are...?" she finishes looking over to the ginger hair boy. "Ron Weasley" he says with his mouth full you pull a disgusted face with a smile. both of the boys look at you "and you are...?" Harry asked. "oh yeah sorry I'm Avery Rose" you smile at them both. You guys small talked until you was nearly at Hogwarts.

"You three better change into your robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon." she stood up walking over to the door, you stood up walking out the compartment going to get changed into your robes. You walked into the bathroom and quickly got changed into the robes, as soon as you walked out of the bathroom the train stoped and everyone started walking off the train. 

You walked off the train looking for Hermione and the boys. As soon as you saw them you walked over to them and smiled, Harry and Ron walked over to the tall professer Hagrid; your father told you about all the teacher, he told you who is most trustworthy and the ones to get along with. "Right then. This way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me." Hagrid waved his arms signalling  the first years to follow him.

Loud, scattered footsteps was all you could hear. As you got to the top of the stair case you saw a tall old woman dressed in a green dress robes, you remembered her name professor Mcgollagon.   

"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats you must be sorted into your houses..... They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Now, while you are here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you house points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup" she welcomed you all with a smile before......
