First Day

September 2nd 1991-

As you walk into the great hall you hear someone calling out your name "Avery!.....Avery!.....AVA!!!" you look over to see Draco and his goons sat down. He singles you to go sit with him so you did. "good morning boys and Draco" you smile.You hear two 'mornings' from the boys shoving food down their throat, you pull a mini disgusted face and turn to Draco who is lightly laughing at you reaction. "goodmorning...snape" he whispers the last part to your ear, "hey!" you playfully hit his shoulder and you both look at each other before bursting out into a fit of laughter.

You and Draco finally stop laughing and start eating some food. As you as eating and talking with Draco you felt people staring at you from the Gryffindor table, you look over to see no one looking at you. You shrugged it off before eating your food again.

You and Draco both giggled and ran around the corner catching up with Crabbe and Goyle. "hurry up guys" Goyle groaned "were t-trying to" you say stopping to catch your breathe. Draco looks at you then signals you to jump onto his back, you hesitated for a second before jumping onto his back. He started to run with you on his back as you tightly wrap your arms around his neck, not too much to choke him. You both and the minions walk into potions laughing, your father looks over at you and sees you laughing. He lightly smiles making sure no one sees him smile, "okay come on let's sit down" you say jumping of Draco book. You guys sit at the front of the class room.

"There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is potion making. However, for those select few..." he looks over at you and Draco and you both smile. "who possess the predisposition, I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper...in death." You look at Draco as he raises his eyebrow. Snape then looks behind you guys.

"Then again, maybe some of you have come to Hogwarts in possession of abilities so formidable that you feel confidant enough to not...pay...attention." You look behind you and see Hermione nudging Harry and he shakes his head paying attention to Snape."Mr. Potter. Our...new...celebrity. Tell me, what would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" not even on second after Hermione raises her hand as Harry shrugs. "You don't know? Well, let's try again. Where, Mr. Potter, would you look if I asked you to find me a bezoar?" and guess what. Hermione raises her hand.

"I-i don't know, sir." he stutters, you turn back around to the front and see Draco looking at you. "what?" you mouth to him. He just shakes his head and looks over to Snape. "And what is the difference between monkshood and wolfbane?" Snape asks. "I don't know, sir." harry doesn't know anything jeez."Pity. Clearly, fame isn't everything.. is it, Mr. Potter?" you turn to Draco as he smirks. You roll your eyes and nudge him to annoy him and he nudges your elbow and you do it back. You both end up nudging each other as a joke while your father goes to speak with harry, to what you don't pay attention to.

<3Everyone in the second year is sat in the great hall talking while doing homework, but you, Draco and his friends. "how the hell have they all got so much homework?" you laugh "because Snape gave them a lot but us" Draco laughed while you smirked. You begged your father to not give you and your friends homework and he luckily agreed. "Snape must like us" Crabbe said, you nodded in response. "this is boring" you groaned placing your head on the table in your arms. Draco started to tickle your sides and you jumped and started to laugh.

"s-stop" you laughed."what was that? don't stop" he smirked and started to tickle you more. You grabbed his arms and held them down but was too strong and messed your hair up. "you idiot" you gasped. You started fix your hair and turned around so your back was facing him. He laugh lightly, "oh come on don't be upset or mad at me" he laughed, you didn't respond "aww come on do you want me to expose you to the whole school?" after he said that you immediately swing back around to face him. "you wouldn't dare" you glared at him while he smirked.
<3"come on Draco! we're going to be late!" you dragged him outside to the practice pitch, which madam Hooch was using to teach us how to fly. Everyone was already their lined up in two lines.We stood at the end of the line across from Harry and Ron.
