Chapter 0.: Another beginning of a Fairytale

What's this? This is the ending? For two years of reading this novel, Is this really the ending? Zash you've got to be kidding me. You make me read this for whole two years only to end up like this.

I calm myself down. Today, June 25, 2020, the novel Journey of End, finally reaches its final 978th chapter. And for goodness sake, from all the things that happened to the male lead, he still ends up sacrificing his self for his comrades and leaving them again devasted because they lost him.

Sigh. Even though none of his comrades died on his journey, that doesn't change anything that the ml died in the end. It is so really not well suited to your taste Zash. Very not well suited.

I read the ending lines again.

|||"Is this really your choice?"

"Yes, it is. With this, all of them will live." Rey said as his soul is getting farther and farther away. He looks to his comrades who are crying.

"Then as per you said your next wish is, I'll make them forget all about you." The genie then raises his hand towards Rey's comrades. A bright light of energy surges out from his hands and went to his comrades which makes them fall one by one, unconscious. Then the light continues to travel from many other places.

"Then now, as what I promised, for my final wish, I wish for your freedom genie," Rey said with a smile.

His soul finally got absorbed in the darkest space in the universe. It will be forever to be unknown to where he will be heading or if he is still alive.

The genie look at the new dawn approaching from the horizon. "Rey you are truly foolish. There is one left who still remembers you." -J.O.E|||

I sigh again. After all that time, I put into reading this. That's why I don't want to read this now. 'Cause I got the feeling that I'm really going to be pissed off in the ending you wrote Zash.

You see when you read a very long novel and the ending is a tragedy or something much worst. I really hate the feeling it gives. It gave you a long roller coaster ride only to make you leave feeling devastated and annoyed in the end.

I will have trouble sleeping tonight.

And damn, the bus is still stuck on the highway due to heavy traffic. It's almost an hour now.

I try to sleep but whenever I close my eyes, the scenes at the ending of the novel is keep repeating in my mind.

Ahhh. You foolish Rey! Please let me sleep. My phone is dead already and I'm still stuck in traffic. Sleep is the only way for me to pass my time now. But I can't sleep damn it!

*ahem* the elderly lady sitting next to me cough a little and then glared at me.

"Ah sorry." I apologize. Did I move too much? Hehehe I didn't notice at all.
