I was actually very sneaky because Kylie has my real phone and I changed my contact name on his phone to Amber or else he was going to be suspicious and ask questions.

Kylie Kippen-Karofsky: You have my permission to make my son your husband and I am proud to call you my son-in-law. Did you get the ring Cyrus Kippen?

She knows to call me Cyrus but she likes real names and she has been waiting for one of us to propose to the other one. I just realized she added Kippen to the end of my name. I start laughing and my future fiancé... oh I will have to get to get used to saying that after I propose to him.

Me: Yes Kylie I did get the... phone off speaker. He can't hear anything.... hold on.

TJ looks at me and try's to eavesdrop on our conversation so I nudge his arm to start the truck.

Kylie Kippen-Karofsky: Good. When are you going to propose?

I don't know how to respond to my future mother-in-law. So I tell TJ that I forgot something for his mother. He just rolls his eyes and asks:

Tj: what did you get my mom?

Me (to TJ): I cant tell you because I am on the phone with her Teej.

Tj: okay babe. Do you want me to get it?

I remembered that I dropped off my phone with a different number at my house so I tell him:

Me: Theo... TJ c-can you get my phone it's on my bed.

He looks at me with concerned eyes and nods and kisses my forehead. We are only 1 minute away from my house so he turns the truck around until we are back at my house and then opens the door. After he leaves the truck, I tell her:

Me: I am going to propose to him at halftime. Why do you want to know?

Kylie Kippen-Karofsky : I want to see you make my son your husband... or "wife". (giggles) I really want to see my son you know? I haven't seen him since his real father pass...

Me: Can we not talk about his father. That makes me sad for him and I don't hear any stories of him and I knew his dad and...

TJ unlocks my phone by grabbing my hand. Wait. When did he come in the truck? How much did he hear? I will hear about this after he hands me my phone or hangs up. He unlocks my phone and I see a question and it says:

Why were you talking about my dead dad? Tell me once I hang up on my mother and I know when you are lying so you better tell me the truth Cyrus Elizabeth Goodman!?!?!

Good! He thinks we were talking about his dad. How do I respond? I can't tell him "I am going to propose to to you and your mom wants to see you again after your dad died and I almost cried when she mentioned him." because he would be sad that he eavesdropped on our conversation that was a surprise for him. He takes the phone away from me to end the call with his mom.

TJ: We, Tyrus have to go to school, but we love you and hope you have a spectacular day at work and don't talk about dad I front of Cyrus, Mom.

He hangs up the phone and starts driving and says:

TJ: So?

Well here it goes.

Me: Your mom, um well. Wants. To. See. You. Again.

TJ slams the breaks and I hit him hard on the arm so we can get to school on time because we are already late for being early.

TJ (Yells and speaks fast): CYRUSELIZABETHGOODMAN! DIDYOUTELLHERABOUTMYSTEPFATHER?BECAUSEISPECIFICALLYTOLDYOUNOTTOTELLHERABOUTHIMBEATINGMEUP!

Me: THELONIUS JAGGER KIPPEN! I DIDN'T TELL HER I SWEAR ON MY FAVORITE SWEATER!

We both got scared when I started yelling, so I continued calmly.

Me: Even if I did, I would tell you and keep driving to school or else we will be late and you won't be able to play in the game.

I hate whenever we yell at each other when he's driving and slams on the breaks.

Me: Lets talk about this later!

TJ: Okay!

None of us said a word until we got to the school.

TJ: I love you Cyrus Goodman!

Before I can say it back, he kisses me and takes me to class holding my hand.

I mean come on this is couple goals. I thought the video of Chris Colfer singing "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles on Glee fit perfectly. Anyways as usual, don't forget to vote and see you in the next one!
