🏀 The Basketball Game 🏀

TJ's team is winning 35 to 18 points. I don't know how the game is played but I just know whenever we... I mean TJ's team is winning. One more minute until half time when I propose to him. What do I say? How do I propose? I mean I have a problem with public speaking. The game timer buzzes to tell me me it's my turn to tell TJ that I want him forever. I walk down to the gym floor and grab a microphone from the announcer and say proudly:

Me: TJ Kippen can you please join me on the gym floor? I have a quick announcement.

Tj slowly walks towards me with a confused face. I feel my face burning up but I continue.

Me: I knew TJ Kippen since 7th grade and I have been dating him ever since I first held his hand at one of my best friends parties. From that moment, I knew that we were soulmates and that you would do anything to keep me safe and happy. I also love you so much which is why (kneels, grabs ring from a pocket and mumbles) Thelonius Jagger (says louder) TJ Kippen, will you marry me, to become Mr. Goodman-Kippen while making me the happiest man alive?

You could hear a pin drop by the silence. I see him smile and finally says:

Tj: Yeah. Yeah!

He kisses me then pulls away from me so I can put the ring on and kisses me again then everyone except Buffy, and Jonah were cheering and congratulating us for our engagement. Next thing I know Jonah comes up to us and yell whispers to me:

Jonah: YOU WERE DATING TJ? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?! WE ARE FRIENDS OR ARE WE NOT? I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. DO NOT TALK TO ME CYRUS. IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME, TEXT OR TALK TO WALKER!!!!

Then Jonah walks away before I can respond and I start crying. TJ gives me the biggest hug I've ever gotten from him. Walker, Amber and Andi join our hug. The next thing was the opposite of what Andi does, she starts singing "I'm so excited" by some artist.

Amber surprises us both. She kisses me on the lips for a fat minute and smells like she had been drinking an alcoholic drink. I look at TJ. TJ grabs Amber and tells Andi to take Amber home. Andi looks shocked. I whisper to Andi.

Me: She is drunk and take her to his mom please? She is behind there.

I point to the door she is behind. I turn to Walker and say:

Me (to Walker whispering): Kyl... My mother-in-law is here! And I need you to set a meeting with Jonah because I apparently have to talk to you?

Walker: Apparently?

Me: yes... I want to apologize to him for not telling him that I was dating TJ...wait a minute...are you married to Jonah? Don't lie to me.

Walker: Who told you? Was it Jonah? I told him I...

I interrupt.

Me: No! No, I figured because you both have the same ring on your hand.
