Me: No! No, I figured because you both have the same ring on your hand.
Walker looks down and blushes like a tomato. I start laughing and tell him:
Me: I think he regrets not telling me that he was married to you or even dating. Call him.
Walker: What?
Me: Just call him and pass me the phone.
Walker hands me the phone. Jonah answers and starts to say:
Jonah: hey my...
I interrupt him and whisper yell on the phone with him and say:
Me: I am not your husband Jonah! Why did you yell at me for not telling you I was getting engaged when you are already married to Walker? You are a hypocrite!
Walker: Don't yell at him Cyrus Goodman-Kippen!
I was just to apologize to Walker and Jonah and then next words Jonah says doesn't surprise me.
Jonah: I am sorry for yelling at you. Your my best friend and I should have congratulated you instead of getting upset... wait how did you know that Walker and I are married?
He sounds like he's been crying. I should feel bad for him but he yelled at me but he's one of my best friends so I can understand and he's not the brightest person in my friend group. We just don't tell him or else he would break down. I respond with a calmer tone because I felt so bad.
Me: Um...Well... you guys have the same ring on. I wish...you could've told your friends. At least you were there for my proposal and I said it in front of the whole school. If I would of told you, you would have told the gossipers in the school and then TJ would have known. That's why I didn't tell you or any of my friends except his mother and Amber.
Jonah didn't say a word and hung up. I give Walker his phone back and tell him to call me when he can and Walker gives me a hug and walks out of the gymnasium.
Oof! Well what a way to hung up on your best friend! What would have you done if you were in Jonah's spot? Leave it down in the comments down below and don't forget to vote and see you in the next one!
