Last Time:

The sound of slight stuttering from Remus made Draco smirk. He knew he made his point ...

XXXXXXXXXX

Remus blinked barely noticing a curious Sirius shift into his human form, "But ... I smelled Harry's blood and he was running away from you-" Remus was silenced when Bellatrix shoved a fox under his nose. "That's Harry's scent, but how ..."

"This is Vesta, Harry's familiar. Apparently, Harry tried to get you here because he trusted us and put blood on Vesta to do it." Lucius said as he and Narcissa went over to Draco to check his eyes. "You gave them such a fight that she was knocked out by a stray spell ... that really doesn't look good. Come on, Draco. Back to bed." He said worriedly after he got a good look at his son's eyes.

Narcissa nodded, "Be careful where you step. Dobby, will you and Flippy begin cleaning up. This will be a big project."

Remus winced as he took in the damage he caused, "Oh ... I'm so sorry about that."

"Saves the apologies for another time. Right now I have to contact Gringotts to keep everyone here out of trouble." Lucius said as he ran back up to his office.

Sirius huffed, "If no one did anything then why are you damn Slytherins covering your tr-"

With one swift motion Narcissa spun around and stepped right up into her cousin's face, "Remus is in just as much danger or do you think the ministry won't find out about him being in that forest?"

Bellatrix smirked, "and keep in mind cousin that you aren't dead, but for some reason Dumbledore told Remus you were. Isn't that something he could've checked at Gringotts?" She said, noticing the stubborn fool visibly deflated at the harsh reminder of the betrayal. "Not always a bad thing to think first huh." She said as Vesta leapt out of her arms and disappeared. The little fox was probably ready to return to Harry.

Lucius came back, "I just finished sending a letter to Gringotts. After our representative arrives we'll contact the ministry. Hopefully before they jump to conclusions." He said gesturing from the young witches and wizards present to to go off and find a safe place to wait as some major repairs began.

"Didn't think Slytherins had the balls to bring the goblins and ministry into this." Sirius murmured he may not have been the brightest, but he knew there was something else going on here. Though, perhaps he was simply annoyed because he didn't see what they apparently saw from the beginning.

"Despite what you think, we aren't cowards. We just know how to survive." Lucius said sharply. The simple comeback made Draco pause on the stairs for a moment before he went back to bed with Dobby's help. Something about what was said made a nagging feeling in his mind, but it wasn't clicking completely yet.

Peter chuckled when he looked more carefully down the hole in the floor, "and here I thought I was the one who had the most excitement. I guess werewolf beats acromantulas this time." He said as two house elves began repairing the gaping hole in the floor. Peter nudged Sirius playfully with his elbow to avoid hurting his ribs, "Trust me, you're lucky we got to you before you used that portkey Dumbledore gave you."

Rabastan saw Remus' eyes sparkle for a second and saw the werewolf's arm move towards his pocket, "Bad idea." He said as flicked his wand to bring whatever Remus tried to grab straight to Peter's hand. Though he miscalculated how well Peter could move with his injuries.

"Ow!" Peter yelped in pain when he stretched his arm to try to catch the object. He couldn't reach out effectively with his busted ribs and the object collided with his head. Despite shooting the sheepish mind healer a pout he picked up the object, which was a little worker bee figure, to examine it.
